  3. Yes @pinn_vasu is right. Just open the and wait and you will see "Get Jio SIM". Click and continue. I found that sometimes it doesn't show "Get Jio SIM". Workaround: Disconnect Internet - Force stop My Jio app - open My Jio app - it will show no internet on top - wait for few seconds for the app to settle background checks - now connect internet and wait for a while - within seconds you will see the option "Get Jio SIM" without fail.

    May be AVoId are trying to block Jio join as well. May be if the number associated with Jio join is ONLINE (data or network connected to 4G) then Jio join can be routed through its own network only. And if the associated number is totally OFFLINE (Switched OFF) then the Jio join can use any WiFi or may be 3G/4G network to connect. Because if the SIM is ONLINE then it is registered on network - so Jio join can register through the same IP (Jio being IP based network).

    Thanks ! for update. I was little sceptical as username and password were not working and 'Forgot your password?' was also disabled.

  9. I have 98200xxxxx and 93200xxxxx identical numbers. Only difference is second digit 8 becomes 3 in other.

  12. OK ! does it mean that now who ever is being migrated to JWO can swap SIM between different handsets ? So the new Sim's are also not locked to specific IMEI from 5th September onward.
  13. Does this mean that one can make calls using Jio SIM in non VoLTE phone without Jio join. Will check in Mumbai - whether switching Mode connects Jio to Rcom or not.

    Wait and see what happens in future. At present even normal calling is facing issue because of blocking by other operators so how can you expect to call using other network.     It is still a matter of legal controversy in India for other operators as Jio subscruber can use their data pack too for calling. But just like you can call from skype etc. - Jio has the license for making/receiving calls from app to any number using Jio number as ID.     I think Jio Join should be in 3G Phone to work with WiFi (May be, not sure). In updated My Jio there is a new option "Manage Device" where you can enter the Serial no. of device. Don't know what it is for ? but read somewhere that it is related to Jio Join app. Any Idea ?
  20. But the they have mentioned 128Kbps... As expected Plans are also being improvised - see the changes below in the basic Plans.
  21. AFAIK my JPO is still valid till 3rd December and the welcome offer will be effective after that till 31st December. Otherwise they would have removed that plan from my subscription - so it is not switching of plan but extension of period with Welcome Offer. They have also mentioned in the sms "This free Offer is valid till December 31st, 2016, with all existing benefits." Only power user can confirm about limits.

    Did you configure ? You need to put the jio number (used in hotspot mobile or JioFi) and activate. I think in the main mobile VoLTE should be disabled or the mobile should be non VoLTE for Jio join to work - may be.

    Has anybody tried Jio Join app on a 3G Handset connected via Hotspot to 4G handset (tethering enabled) with Jio SIM connected to LTE network ? Like the way it can be used in 3G handset connected to JioFi hotspot. May work with LYF handset.
