  1. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Yes !! the only way to come out of ICU.
  2. Our expectation keep on increasing day by day (Human nature). We all know that no other operator has or will ever offer 3 months free voice & data including Free SIM (whether it is Beta testing, welcome launch or what not). Further we know that Mukesh Ambani is here to do business and not charity. (If we want services at moderate rates then the company Jio should survive too) They are offering everything free till 31 December 2016 because they know that it is human nature to get attracted if something is free and you need it. This way they are trying to reduce inter connectivity charges to minimum since most users will be on Jio network to avail free offer (either new connection or by way of MNP to avail welcome offer). We must also know that moderate competition is healthy whereas extreme competition will cause instability and monopoly - which we don't want. Every good service provider should survive and ONLY then we will have the option to switch to other operator if dissatisfied with the services or pricing of one.
  3. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

After CDMA to 4G upgrade Rcom is in ICU and will require transplant surgery - 2g/3g transfer to Aircel and 4G transfer to Jio and Rcom will survive as stake holder.
  4. Why are we assuming that every one should go for Jio? If Jio really failed to appeal you with their tariff plans you can just neglect them and continue with your current operator.
  5. Jio tariff says 5p/MB and not 5p/10KB. http://m.gadgets.ndtv.com/telecom/news/reliance-jio-plans-revealed-voice-calls-and-roaming-free-rs-50-for-1gb-data-1453073 http://www.bgr.in/news/reliance-jio-4g-vs-airtel-vs-vodafone-4g-voice-calls-sms-tariffs-compared/
  6. This is totally Biased and seems FUNDED message. while calculating the cost why the WiFi data is not considered ? its deliberate. Even if you go for small package - additional data will be billed @ 5p/MB or ₹50/GB (Clearly mentioned). Why will someone go for small package is another question. This is a DAMAGE CONTROL message from the competitors/looters - trying to hold back some subscribers for some more time. Forgot to mention the unlimited FREE Night data too. Ab kya Bachche kj jaan loge ?
  7. Which Area ? Token system was already there since last 15 days - Token with time slot were being issued during 11 AM to 12:30 and later one had to visit during the respective time slab as mentioned in the token to fill the CAF and collect SIM. There after the Sim gets activated after approx 7 - 10 days when you receive SMS from Jio asking for tele-verification. But the Reliance Digital I visited stopped issuing token for few days (Till 3rd Sep) since the per day quota exceeded on 25th as it was holiday and the crowd insisted.
  8. ₹299 & ₹499 will be the choice of most average users. Jio has really made Digital Life simple. I mean tension free.... ONLY one small but BIG QUERY ----- Will the Data balance carried forward ? For example if someone uses ₹999 recharge and carries forward unused data balance after 28 days with ₹149 recharge. Will it be possible ?????????? Please some body FIND out.
  9. Any body can take a sim from 5th September onward (Officially) and use all services (Call, sms, data etc.) for free till 31st December. Charges will imply from 1st January 2017. SIM can be ONLY used in a 4G/LTE mobile handset and will not work on 3G or 2G. Also check if your phone supports LTE Band 3,5 & 40 - since these are the Bands used by Jio. For direct calling the handset should support VoLTE else you will have to download Jio join App for calling and SMS.
  10. Yes ONLY 4G (LTE) - specially look for LTE Band 3,5&40 support in the handset with VoLTE too.
  11. Who else is giving you unlimited LOCAL + STD + ROAMING for ₹149 ? And 0.3GB data is Additional bonus (to make you taste 4G speed)
  12. It is included or bundled, you can access WiFi Hotspot in your area if available. JioNet Hotspot is available at stadium , airport, shopping malls, several public places etc. and you only need Jio SIM in your handset to authenticate and log in - no other 'user name' or 'password' required. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/company/corporate-trends/reliance-jio-data-plan-tariffs-all-you-want-to-know/articleshow/53958707.cms http://indiatoday.intoday.in/technology/story/reliance-jio-4g-data-plans-prices-how-it-is-different-and-everything-you-need-to-know/1/754103.html
  13. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

    They might introduce ₹249 and ₹399 with 1GB + 2GB (JioNet Wifi) and 3GB + 6GB (JioNet Wifi) options. Expecting !!
  14. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

All operators are competitors though some of them have sharing agreements. Just like interconnect charges they must be having some revenue exchanges while sharing infrastructure too.
  15. I think the money will be refunded only after 90 days of commercial launch and not after preview offer is over. So one has to further continue for 90 days with commercial services before one can opt out. There must be some catch which purchaser should clarify or read the security deposit refund terms properly. Because normally some amount gets deducted (30% or 50% or 10% etc.) if you apply for refund before the days specified in terms.
  16. Check here for True 4G VoLTE support and preview offer as published by Jio. https://www.jio.com/en_US/faq/true-4g/true-4g-volte-devices/which-are-true-4g-volte-enabled-devices-in-market.html
  17. Actually the demand exceeded their expectation and they have got too many applications - so temporarily they have stopped for few days just to clear pending activation/CAF processing as told by the Manager of Reliance Digital here.
  18. Seems it is LYF handset clearance Sale Offer!
  19. Jio VoLTE on Nexus 6P

Update your software. VoLTE feature was introduced after the update AFAIK. Then manually enable VoLTE in Mobile networks.
  20. Code is not required now for any brand except Samsung and LG - it is provided by the store themselves. But Samsung and LG owners are required to generate code.
  21. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Actually Reliance Digital are playing safe - already the subscriber load has increased since it is now available for all 4G phones. They said it could activate before that (10 Days) but if they promise 48 Hrs or 72 Hrs and it doesn't activate they will be flooded with frowning queries which they want to avoid.
  22. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Got the SIM today - was told that it will get activated max within 10 days. There after I have to call 1977 and verify. that's it!
  23. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Yes ! Lene Jaa raha hoon aaj.
  24. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

They are putting up many different packs which do not work . I recharged and lost money. When I called customer care - they said "no such plans". Seems Rcom is just collecting money from prepaid users by giving all rubbish recharge options and not providing any benefit. One such option is ₹97 pack (Mumbai Circle) and ₹51 (1GB for 15days Mumbai circle - listed under DATA_COMBO in myservices as well as instant online recharge and instacare app). It doesn't give what is mentioned there but gives roaming pack instead (Which is mentioned in reliance 4G page under STV). After recharge they are not ready to file a complain too - saying no such option is on our website. My question is "Why such a recharge is available for selection while recharging online through Rcom as well as instacare app with the description saying 1GB for 15 days?". I have mailed them the snapshot of the recharge pages stating details but nothing happened. Yesterday I went to web world and lodged a manual complain after I showed them the options available on their website and instacare. Tata Docomo and Vodafone also gives such My Offers which provide additional benefit apart from the basic pack. Reliance also provides such offers for RGSM 3G connections and they work too (Like the one ₹91 gives you 400 MB 3G for 3 days and I got 400MB for 3 Days + promo 1648.00MB for 8 days = 2GB because it was offered under *129# for my particular number. But before recharge one has to double confirm from the Customer care these days whether the offer is valid or not (after the frequent horrified experiences with 4G recharges). I am highly disappointed with Rcom 4G recharges - and planning to port out as I find no other solution (was using CDMA since 2003).
