Friends, so far from the responses it appears that, Nokia 6275 does has a newer Firmware (for people who purchased in the beginning when it was launched). However, for Nokia 6265, there doesn't seem to be any update other than the one they have released initially.

THanks for the info spk nair.

Any way i dont think there is no any solution other than upgrade handset to overcome providing of call recorder, bluetooth progress bar etc. I think there is no use of firmware upgrade. If yes, in this forum there is 6275 users they have two types of version. First we hav to check any difference in the options of their handset. I think both are same.

^^^

If so, then they may have updates for 6265 and 6275.

When I sent an email to them sometime back, they replied that no updates to the version I have on my mobile.

Lets see, I will shoot another email to them.

Hey guys, i have just put in an email to Nokia Care from my official email address. which is as follows:-

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4th March 2009

I would like to request you to kindly lanuch a Nokia firmware upgrade for Nokia 6275.

I am a relaince customer. My details show as follows :-

Current version - V BL290V0100.nep

(06-03-07)

RM-154

I would like you to kindly consider the following features in the upgrade:

1. Much faster software

2. Advanced graphic look for Menus and Options

3. Receive bluetooth files directly to memory card

4. More options and features

5. SMS support for PC Suite.

6. Ability to move SMS from phone to memory card.

7. Call Duration for each and every call - like your Call Log in S60 phones.

8. Speed Dials to be increased to atleast 100 from the 8 presently.

9. No. of SMS storage to be increased from around 100 to Maximum depending on free space

10. No. of Contacts to be increased from 500 to Maximum depending on free space

Due to the lac of contact memory and message memory i am forced to switch over to other Mobile Companies like samsung where a couple of handsets in CDMA have capacity of upto 2000 contacts. Why cant Nokia simply have the same features in CDMA phones like the ones in GMS. I am using a Nokia 5310 XPressMusic also. There are no restriction on the number of contacts and message memory there. Why is it so?

Regards,

Pratik

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lets see. I am awaiting a reply now.
