Get Tataindicom Broadband 2mbps Unlimited For Rs 3756

Recommended Posts

BELOW here mentioned is the hourly charge for tataindicom broadband prepaid.

Time Based

(Min/ Max) Speed MRP(Rs.) Pack Value Per month Validity Rate per hr Total hr of data transfer

(Rs.) (Rs.) (in months) (Rs.)

Quick Power 50 256 Kbps/ 2 Mbs 1,180 1,050 1,050 1 21.00 50

Quick Power 60 256 Kbps/ 2 Mbps 758 675 675 1 11.25 60

Quick Power 180 256 Kbps/ 2 Mbps 1,922 1,710 570 3 9.50 180

Quick Power 360 256 Kbps/ 2 Mbps 3,641 3,240 540 6 9.00 360

Quick Power 720 256 Kbps/ 2 Mbps 6,877 6,120 510 12 8.50 720

Along with any of the above mentioned plans u can choose night unlimited (9.00 P.M TO 9.00 A.M )for an additional payment of 299 Rs per month. Now let us do a little maths. For example

Quick Power 720 speed = 2 mbps cost of package = 6877 actual cost per hour = 6877/ 720 = Rs 9.55 . Now Rs 9.55 x 12 hours per day x 30 days = Rs 3438 ( cost of 12 hours per day for 30 days i.e 9.00 A.M TO 9.00 P.M ) for the rest of 12 hours per day opt for the night unlimited plan as mentioned above . The total cost of 2mbps unlimited broadband will be Rs 3438 + 299 ( night unlimited) = Rs 3737 inclusive of all taxes!. How is that for an unlimited 2 mbps package .

Quick Power 180/360 etc are closed for subscription. The alternate plans cost around 6371 So the cost if you want to use 2mbps unlimited turns out to be 6371+299=6670 :)

i don't have any experience about the tata BB service but in terms of tarrif they are very funny.

Like if you opted for 256Kbps plan and made the payment for 6 months then you can change the plan only after 6 months before that you won't be able to change tha plan. where as all other operators provide the switching of plan on prorata basis :)

All tariffs are not applicapable for all cities where tataindicom broadband is present. For city wise tariff visit tataindicom broadband website and click on prepaid tariff u will be taken to a new webpage . On this webpage on the extreme top right hand side click to choose ur city and u will get the prepaid tariff for ur city . The above mentioned plans are available for kerala. In some cities they charge the above mentioned rates for 512 kBps ( DELHI , FARIDABAD etc). A word of caution for tataindicom broadband subscribers. Please donot renew ur prepaid A/C USING NET BANKING because u will get the above mentioned packages only with ur nearest tataindicom broadband dealer . Instead of NET BANKING OR CREDIT CARD payment use the scratch card with pin number available with ur nearest tataindicom broadband dealer. :D . If u have 2mbps speed available in ur city then these plans will be available with ur tataindicom broadband dealer. So guys the secret is renew ur A/C using scratch card available with ur tataindicom broadband dealer for enjoying the above mentioned plans :P:P .

Can you recommend me any good (and cheap) load balancing routers available which can achieve that? Since I have a home-office, I would like to set up like that.

what u said is right but then the extra 1240 Rs . And to be really truthful my tataindicom broadband connection has been down only 5 to 6 times in the last 18 months and that too for about 2 to 3 hours ( almost 18 hrs in total ) which is under permissable limits for the broadband business.
