Tata Indicom Takes Customer Service To The Next Level

Check out the following link. It is Tata Indicom's official forum for its customers where customers can post their queries as well as send feedback to the company. I went through a few posts and replies, and I was quite impressed with the replies from the company.

Hopefully this does remains as a long time service and does not die down with the passage of time. Time for Reliance to wake up and usher in consumer confidence

Making Rimweb.in as Reliance's Official forum is the best they can have ever..

Seriously if reliance started an official forum, then surely it will be flooded with complaints and suggestions and they will never have time to read the threads..

I feel rimweb.in might have played a role in the birth of tata's official forum..

yeah, such official forums will be filled up with complaints only and would eventually end up closing the forums. I already see that most of the posts are complaints which would be better to be handled through their support system rather than a public forum. Moreover account related information will be seen by others as its a public forum. Its not really a good idea actually.

Making Rimweb.in as Reliance's Official forum is the best they can have ever..

Forums should be independent since its a public discussion board. When it is an "official forum", that independence will be lost and can become too "restrictive". Obviously Reliance officially would not allow some "hot topics" that we already have at rimweb! ;)

Yep seen it before. Damn good initiative from Tata.

BTW they are using vBulletin as forum script rather than any normal free scripts.

This shows they are atleast little commited to provide good service :)

Actually they are listerning to the customer queries

Plenty of customers asked them to reduce the Plug 2 surf UL plan as they felt it was costly

and they have Reduced the Plan now to Rupees 700 for Punjab and Haryana

and 800 rupees for other states

It is costly to BSNL but cheaper than other operators

So only Reliance is charging 1500 bucks for the UL plan

Wish they would also reduce the charges and Make this forum as a Official one

So only Reliance is charging 1500 bucks for the UL plan

Call Customer Care Contact Centre number from your phone

and enquire about RNC20GB Unlimited plan.

My point of View

Tata's move by introducing official forum is to reduce their customer care headache and not to increase man power.

An example is Rimweb. here majority of our queries are resolved with the help of Senior or experienced members. tata wants similar thing to happen where a customer's query is attended by another customer. So this reduces their headache and also reduces their manpower necessity.

I did Call the Customer care Today and enquired about this Plan

But Unfortunately they are Saying that No Such Plan In Available and the UL still Costs 1500 bucks
