Yeh your phone wont work without ESN. :P

Btw do you know your ESN ?

If so maybe it can be sorted out..

Else

Hey Naveed buddy,

No harm is done. dont panic.

If you have noted down old ESN, just try writing that.

It might take 2/3 attempts to write the ESN. So dont worry if you get an error or still see a 0 ESN.

Alternatively, you can go to service center with some creative excuse... and they'll reprogram it for you.

Hey Naveed

try to change Line#1 to Line#2 and vice-versa

I dont think changing Lines would work when there is no ESN in the phone...

You dont have to worry.. Just give it to the service centre..

They will get it done in a day...

Changing lines doesnt work,

I had same problem, My esn got changed to 0

Service center guys only took 2 mins to fix that. No questions asked.

Dont mess with the phone naveed, or you might change something else too (by mistake) and do more damage. Take it to the service center.

hey while writing esn sometimes at first it writes the ESN as 0

In such cases just try writing once more, it will work properly

Don't worry and panic.

Simply go to the service centre as if nothing happened and they will fix it.

I know CDMA very well and for some reason (I don't know why - so don'y ask) in some sets the ESN suddenly becomes 0. Could be due to some internal technical reason like "shocks" or 'dropping the set". It is a regular problem faced by the Reliance service centres - just like the "service required" in the good old days.

Bye
