Disable Fastboot (Settings -> Power -> Fastboot -- Uncheck) 2. Enable USB Debugging (Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging --- Check & OK) Tool for S-OFF (Will work on Verizon Stock 2.3.3 / hboot 0.97 Only) --- revolutionary.io Note --- You need to S-OFF only once in Handset lifetime unless ........ Hence most of you will need it once only. Files required to get Superuser working on Phone --- Download, Copy to SD card & Flash thru recovery (Install Zip from SD card) in following order --- 1. http://downloads.and...fghi-signed.zip 2. http://downloads.and...fghi-signed.zip Make sure of the Order. Else it might not work. Note : Phone Should be S-OFF Already & CWM Recovery should be installed on Phone. Flash ROM from SD Card 1. Disable Fastboot (Settings -> Power -> Fastboot -- Uncheck) 2. Enable USB Debugging (Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging --- Check & OK) 3. Copy ROM to SD Card & Rename to PG32IMG.zip 4. Place it into SDCards root (SDCard must be format by FAT32) 5. Switch off Phone. Press Volume Low & Power Button together & Hold to Put Phone into Bootloader mode and Flash this ROM. 6. Follow steps shown on screen. If everything is OK, Bootloader will automatically take PG32IMG.zip & show option. Volume UP to Flash the Phone & Volume Down to Reboot. After you have flashed your Phone. I suggest to Rename or Remove RG32IMG.ZIP (Rom File) from SD Card so that if you ever go to bootloader again, it does not show Flash alert again. Flash ROM from PC (Using Fastboot --- Personally I like this) 1. Disable Fastboot (Settings -> Power -> Fastboot -- Uncheck) 2. Enable USB Debugging (Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging --- Check & OK) 3. You need android-win-tools (adb.exe & fastboot.exe). Extract zip to folder & copy the ROM to same folder. Example (D:\adb) 4. Connect Phone to PC in Charge only Mode. Make sure all drivers are installed. 5. Open Command Prompt (Windows 7 / Vista --- Run as Administrator) 6. Follow Commands --- d: cd adb adb reboot bootloader fastboot oem rebootRUU fastboot erase cache fastboot flash zip <<ROM File Name>> fastboot reboot <<ROM File Name>> --- file name for the ROM. Download tool for Windows or Linux. Connect Phone to PC in Charge only Mode. Make sure all drivers are installed. 5. If Phone is already S-OFF, It will ask you to Flash CWM Recovery. 6. Press Y & Enter to flash recovery. Wait for Few minutes, Since revolutionary will download this from Internet directly. 7. Phone will end in Fastboot Menu. Select "Reboot" to restart the phone. How to go to Recovery ---- Using PC --- 1. Disable Fastboot (Settings -> Power -> Fastboot -- Uncheck) 2. Enable USB Debugging (Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging --- Check & OK) 3. You need android-win-tools (adb.exe & fastboot.exe). Extract zip to folder Example (D:\adb) 4. Dear All, Presenting here the Money Saving way of getting SPC of Sprint Blackberry Phones (Only for 8530 / 9330 / 9670). Before taking any of these steps please note a few things:- 1. All this exercise will only save you Rs. 200-300 as you can get SPC solution from eBay or other sources by spending money. But for people like me and other sellers here, it is good to use this, I have already spent more than 2000/- on getting SPCs for 9330 / 9670 on various occasions. 2. This guide is required only for SPRINT Blackberry Phones. Please note that Verizon / Alltel / US Cellular has SPC as "000000", For Metro PCS netowrk Blackberry you can use this website to get SPC free of cost. 3.Though these are no chance of doing any harm to your Blackberry Device by using this Guide, STILL BE AWARE that you are using this guide at your own risk. Its more like a Statutory Warning so I have to warn you. Don't bother we are here to save you out of any trouble. Here you go. Steps are all common for all the three models once you download the required files. BB8530 (Courtsey Parin Bhai) (Tested and Found working) BB9330 (Don't have any Sprint BB 9330 fpr Testing, but should work) BB9670 (Tested and Found working) You can download the file required from above links based on your Blackberry Model. Steps to be taken:- 1. Install Blackberry Desktop Manager on your PC. 2. Connect your BB phone with PC and let the Drivers Installation take place completely. 3. UnZip/UnRar the file downloaded from above link. 4. Open the unzipped / un-rar file you got in step 3 above while your device is connected with PC. 5. A commnad prompt type application will open and connect to the bootrom of your BB device. 6. This application will start loading the rom/os on your device, showing progress in %. 7. Once it is done completely your device will reboot. 8. NOW PLEASE DON'T PANIC, After booting your device will show ---- No Application Linked ------ 9. Now with your device connected with PC, open CDMA Workshop or QXDM Professional. (Google and u will find a lots of link to these applications, even in Rimweb). I have done this with help of Official CDMa WS 3.7.5, the older cracked v2.7 may also work. For using QXDM command go here and say thanks. 10. Select the Com Port of your device and connect the Com port. 11. Go to Security Tab and in the SPC section, click Read. Thats all.................. for the SPC, you will find it there in CDMA WS / QXDM. Now that was the half work done and you have to get your device back to working condition. Use the following steps:- 1. You will need the Device OS for your Blackberry, get it from HERE 2. Install the file so downloaded on your PC. 3. Go to the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader" and delete Vendor.xml file. 4. Run Apploader.exe file and it will show the PIN of your device connected with PC. 5. Just follow the on screen steps to load the device OS and bring back life in your Blackberry. Enjoy and spend these 200-300 bucks for some good cause.

Any one with MoPho wondering to get the accurate battery stats (FYI to those who are unaware of this photon like some other phones show battery percentage in the levels of 10, 20, 30.. that too using third party apps). I would Request all RimWebians to Join Hands for making Mass user level Request to Reliance to Start Allowing all Customer to enable Foreign ESN / MEID Based Handsets. Some Point which Support This move is As EVDO Services Requires HDR User name and HDR Password it can not Activated in Foreign ESN / MEID Handset the way we were Doing till now. Other CDMA Handsets like Samsung Instinct, LG Dare, LG Vu, All Blackberry, Palm Centro is Impossible to Activate unless Reliance dont allow us. Reliance will have less Pressure to Introduce the New Handset as after some time Some Retailer like Sadik can do it Officially. As MNP is on edge Reliance will have alternative Channel for Customer Support on Handset Front and Retain there Loyal Customer in CDMA. What Reliance should Expect from Customer who Owns the Handset The Customer must know the SPC of Phone or it should be 000000. It will not Resposibility of Reliance for Activation Failure. Reliance will not be Obliged to Activate R-World on it. If Handset is lost Reliance will not Bar the Phone ESN / MEID as it Already Unknown to their Database. Reliance may ask for Memo, Bill, Credit Card Statement to get proof of the Ownership of Phone. If Such Document is not available then Reliance may ask Client to Indemnify Reliance for any Further Legal complication may arise if the Phone is lost, stolen or misused etc. Reliance may Keep a Separate Database for such Clients for their own Purpose. What Customer Should Expect from Reliance. Reliance should Allot Dummy RSN Generated at their End to this New Phone after taking Due Undertaking on a Letter from Client. If Easier Method like TATA can be worked out. Other then RSN. if should be done. Reliance should Provide Latest PRL File on their Web site Column maintain for this Purpose only. A Special Cell should be kept Reliance to maintain Compatibility of Handsets. and This should be also Published on their Site. Reliance should Help to Activate Voice, SMS and Internet Access using CDMA 1x and Upcoming EVDO when available using OTA (Over the Air Activation) for Handset announced Compatible. All Warrenty Related Issue are not Handled. How TATA is doing this. TATA dont use RSN type Funda to Generating Dummy RSN is not Required at all. Just Reset SPC to 000000. Load Proper PRL using Approprite Software like QPST, CDMA Workshop or in Windows Based Phone we could Dial ##PST# and load PRL from Memory Card. Catch TATA Network then and Dial *228 to Switch your Number from Old Handset to new Foreign ESN / MEID Handset using ICC (Insta Change Card) Then Why Reliance is not Doing it till now.
