    LTE sim has nothing to do with cdma or gsm handsets. If your handset supports LTE band 3/5/40 then RCOM 4G sim will work maybe the handset is cdma or gsm. But since they are providing voice on 2g/3g gsm network you need gsm handset for both data and voice. With cdma supported sets you can only access data through LTE.

    Some of the handsets that have LTE Band 5 (850 mhz) as well as Band 40 (2300 mhz) are Samsung Galaxy J7 Samsung Galaxy J5 Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (N910G) Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Oppo F1 Honor 5x iPhone 5s iPhone 6 iPhone 6 plus iPhone SE Samsung Galaxy S6 These handsets also have Band 3 (1800 mhz) used by other service providers in India.

    4g will be launched very soon in the above 10 circles and cdma services will not continue there after 31st May. Only cdma customers will be upgraded currently. GSM customers will have to wait. For upgrade to 4g all customer has to do is purchase a 4g ready sim and send a sms from his no along with the 19 digit sim no. MNP/INP not required. LTE will b used only for data and fallback of voice will happen on 3g/2g automatically.

    Move on mates. Use those handsets as paper weights. I remember the good old days of PPC 6800 when we were into some serious s#!t.
