7 pointsAa gayi bhai logo, aa gayi....lolz The amount taken per sim is Rs. 25/- (sim cost) + 97/- for 4G Recharge which includes UNLIMITED local and std Reliance calls + 150 minutes of Local & STD calls + 1GB Data for 30 days. These benefits start immediately on existing CDMA sim/number. It is a modern pre-cut sim which you can use in any phone (no need to get it cut from outside). Then you need to sms 4G<space><19 digit 4G sim number> to 1299 from existing cdma sim and you will get a confirmatory message that Dear Customer, your request for 4G upgrade has been registered on SIM <number>. We will update you regarding upgrade. Thank you. RCOM. Please note that the 4G sim is yet NOT ACTIVATED and you can't use it. They are saying that it should be activated max by 5th May. After activation you get an additional 10GB 4G data for one month besides the above benefits. So that is the exercise till now. Cheers...

3 pointsnot tried sd card, since using both sim slot ( i know 2sim + micro sd card possible but i am not gud surgeon for nice slim cut) recommended to go for 32 GB, after our regular apps you hardly get nay space for your own data (mine is 3gb left) so otg pen drive is option but not solution.

1 pointGot the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Handset for my son through Amazon. It's the 2GB/16GB model. Costed 9998/- It's a dual sim/dual standby handset. If you want to use the micro sd card port to expand memory then you will have to sacrifice one sim. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa Core processor with a clock speed of 1.8Ghz, a 5.5" Full HD display IPS panel, 16MP rear and a 5MP front shooter and a 4000maH battery which easily lasts two days with moderate usage. In the box Front Rear Aluminum body with the top and bottom plastic accents for better reception for the antennas they house. Quite iphone like premium build. Very lightweight for such a big phone and very easy to hold in hand. Bottom view of the micro usb port and the mic The left side has only the sim slot Which opens by this provided tool To reveal this sim housing which houses the sim 1 and sim2/micro sd hybrid slot The right side has the power and the volume buttons which are excellently finished and provide a tactile feel The top view which houses the 3.5mm jack, secondary mic, and yes, a IR blaster. You can use the phone to fully control all your electronic devices. A view of the front facing camera and the earpiece. All other sensors (proximity, light etc.) are hidden and not visible to the eye. A view of the rear camera, dual flash and yes, a very fast and excellent fingerprint sensor. A 2Amp fast charger is provided and even though they do not claim fast charging, I can confirm that fast charging works great. A size comparison with my Asus Zenfone 2. Same screen size but still the RN3 is more compact even after having a much bigger battery. It also has more premium feel in hand compared to the Asus which costed almost twice. Yes, it is VoLTE enabled and Jio compatible The APN setting done by the Reliance World chap, in case anyone is interested The preferred network (according to him) has to be at Global. But none worked for EVDO (till now) About Phone The mobile network state stays at connecting while trying to connect to EVDO While it did connect once while it was on 1x Speeds were pathetic on 1x though But amazing speeds on WiFi Some views of the box and SAR values. It is a MADE IN INDIA product. Cheers for now from dkaile Rest, some points I have discussed on the other "Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 supports CDMA" thread. More inputs to follow here.

1 pointthere is too much off topic comments in this thread making it extremely difficult for someone who has specifically opened it to have a "review" of RM3. Request MODs to clean the thread.

1 pointindigestion started since we are not used to throttling speed...and reliance 2G LOL... Hope no FUP

1 point@sunilromy bro rite now rcom does not provide 4g at 850mhz band 5, It has moved its cdma customers to jio network so you would require a handset which supports 1800 band 3 mhz and 2300 mhz band 40...!! Please change your handset and check it...!!

Odds of getting the 32 GB are same as winning a lottery. Ha ha. Or else the 16 GB will have to suffice.Ashish Bhai try olx , you will get it at a premium of 500-1000Many people book only to sell after market. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

1 pointIt doesn't support volte by now, but may support after an update, hopefully the upcoming MM one. Battery life is awesome. It's the only phone that can live for 24 hours in Jio network. LYF water 1 needs to be charged 4 times a day and Moto G3 3 times a day.But with my Airtel 4G, the phone lasts 2.5 days. With Airtel and Bsnl, the phone lasts almost two days. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

1 pointNo. But it supports almost all necessary 4G bands in Indiasent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

1 pointI have inserted it in samsung j5 it get detected as reliance 4g. Network comes for 3 4 seconds then disappeared probably cause isnt activated. Its a gsm 4g sim clearly. So i guess 4g lte gsm handset should work. I have lg g4 ls991, i will test it later. I again visited web world as its on my way to work. He said his store only got 50 sims and all got sold. As i was bugging him daily, he told me he can arrange 3 4 sim for me by evening. They aren't giving blank sim without frc. I wont waste 4 x 125 unless i am satisfied.Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
-
1 pointNope. I gave him my sim, he just sent activation request from his phone and return it back. Now my cdma sim is working yet. Its my secondary number, unless i am sure with good voice and data i am not gonna go jump for 4g. No documents are required. Just 125 rs and sim card. Its available in thane store. They said each store got only 200 4g sim cards, so they arent giving it in bulk and they activating it themself.Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk

1 pointLenovo Vibe P1 currently do not support VOLTE. But it is hardware capable so if a software update is provided, VOLTE will work. For india LTE bands it supports band 3 & 40 but no support for band 5 (800+ Mhz current CDMA being vacated by R Com for 4G upgrade)
