    Great!! Have been waiting for this one! Thanks for posting. I just hope and pray that this one does not have the dust issue which plagued the Optimus One. And hope they have improved on the cam. Going to wait for some reviews.
  2. Wouldn't be sure of that. Regarding my LG P500, the service center also gave me a DOA certificate and do not replace the mobile themselves. For replacement I was was told to go to the same shop where I bought it from. Good thing about this is that in case the same model is not in stock or something, you may get to buy whatever else the shop has in stock. The way I see it is that mgdelhi has been inconvenienced by Indiaplaza. Normally, if you buy from any shop, if its dead out of the box, the shopkeeper should replace it immediately, without further hassles. I was told the same even by Letsbuy - that if its defective or has genuine issue, I can send it back and they would replace it, but it has to be done in 2 days or such. At least thats what I was reassured. Don't know how good they are when executing it. Letsbuy's reputation is not exactly terrific, but at least they are better than Indiaplaza for sure. Flipkart on the other hand seems to have a 30 day replacement guarantee. And I'm sure thats unbeatable, along with Flipkart's numero uno reputation and service.

    Half a victory is = zero victory. Though I find even the idea of victory and defeat to be ridiculous in a (so-called) democracy. Elected representatives HAVE TO bend to the will of the electorate. Where is the question of victory and defeat? Its quite a different matter that this does not seem to work in real with these rotten $!@% scum having the guts to even openly oppose the people who have elected them (I am not talking about legitimate concerns). What I really liked is Anna advising the people to note in diaries what each representative spoke in parliament and and go thru it at election time. How on Earth do these people get re-elected unless people have amazingly faulty memory modules in their skulls? Lets see if this half victory becomes zero victory soon and if these premature celebrations become a joke. I'd not trust politicians one bit.

    They also seem to have upped their advertising. The cost of which is also perhaps behind these crazy price hikes. I was happy to have gotten few good deals from them till last month or so, but now there is almost nothing worth buying esp. at the current prices. Their coupons mean nothing now. Disappointing.

    Have you guys noted the extent to which Yebhi has hiked prices in recent times? With the current prices, these coupons are not attractive for most items. Even some rubbish products are now priced more than double then what they were just a month or so ago. You can get better deals even in physical shops (esp. during sales).
  11. ^^^Same here. Used the phone couple days ago and tariff was it should be. And it better stay that way, else my RGSM goes out of the window. Why on Earth should anybody use RGSM if tariff is same as Idea/Voda?
  12. Ok, now Docomo starts! I have been on the Sab Se Bol pack since approximately 6 months now. For those who do not know - it gives 1 GB data allowance per month and some T-T talk time. This month I suddenly discovered that my balance suddenly became zero. They told me its I have used up 1GB in just 10 days so data charges were deducted from my main balance. Now, I have been complaining about poor data speeds since several weeks. Instead of addressing this core issue, they have the gall to tell me I have used up 1 GB in 10 days!! I do not connect my phone to comp. My phone clearly shows my data usage as about 90 MB. Further I am not that bad at estimating how much data I consume. In fact I can't use it much because of the pathetic speeds most of the time and also many times it simply does not connect. What is really funny is that one of their own tech guys who had called me up made me wait on the phone while he fished out my data records and told me that I have used up only about 90 MB. He admitted that there seems to be some mistake and he will look into it. Next day I receive SMS that I have been correctly charged and there is no problem. After making a LOT of noise, without getting into details, they finally credited back 80% of the amount they pilfered from my account. What is worse is that the guy had the gall to tell me that I have been charged correctly but they are crediting it back as a goodwill gesture! And as of now they are not ready to reinstate the 900 MB or so which I most definitely have not used. So I am without data on my smartphone. Ever since this issue occurred I am observing several other issues too. One of them being that my balance not only goes down, but goes up too on its own. And it happens in steps! Further, I got a SMS saying I activated a 3G plan which I most certainly have not. And even after getting that SMS, they are telling me that 3G has never been active on my number. Few other issues too... What exactly is Docomo upto? If they are doing this for petty cash, then I fail to understand the math. I told them I will not recharge unless they fix the issues and will be forced to port out. Does Mr. Tata think that making a small amount of petty cash is the short term is more lucrative than maintaining a good, reasonably well paying customer in the long term? Or is it just that they have increadibly shoddy networks with poltergeists in them? Or a disgruntled employee fooling around? So beware guys - think more than twice before recharging with large amounts. I was lucky that I had a small balance. You can never know when they wil simply wipe it out without warning. Very, very annoyed with Docomo. Seriously considering a switch soon...
  13. Could not find time to mention earlier - they again credited Rs. 3 back to my account and their email said they will look into why its happening, etc. Lol! Lets see if they mean it or when the next looting spree happens. But this time they replied after over a week after sending details of all this looting to the DoT. Sent it to TRAI also, but they didn't even reply. Wonder if they even read.
  14. ^^^ Seems exactly like that. A very important observation. Even I got nowhere with AirHELL in the past, even after complaining to DoT. RCom and even Docomo though do pay heed to it.
  15. ^^^There is a difference between Lifetime validity and Lifetime Tariff validity. If you are sure you have a lifetime tariff validity plan, and they are charging more, then they are clearly cheating. Complain about it to DoT and TRAI also.
  16. Seems Docomo is bent on removing all/most advantages that made people choose it. Just got an SMS saying Missed Call Alerts will be changeable from 2 August.
  17. But dude, they are following regulations which prohibit operators from changing plans/terms for min. 6 months. And they are not automatically subscribing existing users to the MCA monthly service. So to that extent, aren't they right? While we are fretting and fuming at the cessation of a free service, its still some solace that their rates are perhaps the lowest. Even then, personally I don't think I'll be subscribing to it.
  18. Sad possibility has come true. But luckily its for new connections. But they better not do it for old subscribers, esp. those with lifetime tariff validity. Else it will be like a breach of contract and trust. Only masochists will use RGSM with these new tariffs...

    After some good deals from Yebhi, they have recently increased prices so much that nothing looks worthwhile. And the stocks are also pretty limited. If at all I find something you like, usually the sizes are not available. Other products don't have sufficient details mentioned. All jeans for eg. seem to be mentioned as regular fit when they seem to be slim fit, etc (but how can I be sure?)., from the pics or the fit is simply not mentioned. Besides at the prices they are now quoting (even with discount vouchers), there is just no point in buying it online. There are much better stuff in shops and you can actually check out the stuff. Bought a bag though size was not mentioned. It turned out to be too small to be of any use. A shirt turned out to be of really thin fabric, looks much worse than in pics and quality wise also its not good. And the best part is they raised the price of that rag from about 450 to 950 recently. The flip-flops were defective. The stuff wasn't even usable, so had to send it all back. Yebhi customer service is fairly good though. Shipping is sometimes delayed, but is usually fast. But unless they keep the prices attractive and keep quality stuff and provide sufficient details of products, its just not worthwhile.

  25. Ok, its showing in the account statement too. With this level of fraud perpetration, I suggest others not to rely on the account details (as below) shown in the "My Account" section on their website. Keep a record of your balance immediately after calls in a notebook/pad. See the 2G Keymon Call on 30 July, in the below screenshot. @Kanaga, ok, let me see what I can do...
