    Anyone can upload the Flyte apk (of flipkart mp3) ? Market gives me error that its not compatible with Nexus S 4G though i can't think of any reason why it shouldn't be.
  3. Sorry, I didn't read the rebooting issue. I thought you are worried about the F1 F2 problem only. Please ignore earlier post. Boot with a ubuntu livecd (or any other linux live cd or live usb) and see if LiveCD OS also reboots after running for some time. If it doesn't, then it should be HDD problem. If it does, then its probably RAM or CPU. Or maybe a loose connection in your power supply or power switch etc. You can also run 'memory check' option on boot menu of ubuntu livecd or any other livecd. This option should also be there in most BIOS. If its not HDD or RAM then check cpu temp. Usually if an OS stops due to critical hardware error (like hard disk etc) then windows will give a blue screen with error num and linux will give a kernel panic screen with details. If these don't come up then it could be power supply issue or sudden errors in CPU or RAM. See if windows error logs last event gives you anything.
  4. BIOS is not reporting any problem - its only saying it couldn't load saved settings. This happens either on hardware change OR because BIOS CMOS battery is down so it can no longer keep BIOS settings saved and loads defaults every time. There's nothing wrong with any hardware or OS or windows/linux Bootloaders Do the following:- 1. Press F1 to go into BIOS and then select option to "Save and Exit". Then reboot. 2. If you still get the same message try removing your USB mouse and rebooting and do F1 >> Save again once. 3. If you still get the message then replace your BIOS CMOS battery There's no issue if you keep using the PC with F2 load defaults every time till you get time to replace cmos battery. Its not critical.
  5. Entirely my fault actually - i even felt something wrong with the euro rates shown in total, but being in a hurry to leave for the day i just clicked around. I think i am getting used to buying too many things online ! I would probably have stopped once I reached the CC & CVV number page - if it showed the Rs amount properly. Best part is that i never knew these are smart watches or android watches etc. I just thought they looked really pretty and would be good for gifting to kids of relatives/friends etc. At this price I wouldn't even gift them to myself !
  6. I selected 8-10 pcs and even checked out but but fortunately my company firewall message came up - "banned shopping site" - so i was saved - whew ! After reading here I realized my shopping cart total was 68,300 or so. If the transaction had gone through i would have had no option but to become a trusted seller here ! or courier all stuff to our Doctor Sahib and start RCOM like recovery practice. First time i made such a mistake. Was leaving office in a hurry and thought I might miss this great thing by the time i reach home. Good Lesson to me.

  10. ^ Yes, even I have got that in my shopping cart since 2 days thinking if its so cheap it might not be very powerful. Thanks for confirming the quality. Was thinking of going in for samsung but maybe i'll go in for this now. Samsung does have a wireless subwoofer. Though it'll still need a power socket so i don't think 1 more wire to connect it to the soundbar would be much of an issue. specially since I'll anyway be keeping sub near the soundbar.

    The difference between Allwinner A10 CPU and all the other low end CPUs like rockchip, telechips, via etc is huge. Its only after A10 was launched that the cheaper tablets became usable. I have tried 3-4 non-allwinner tablets and they are really unusable due to their slow CPUs - regardless of how many GHz it is rated at.

    Its been a quite a long time since i fixed any car but I would diagnose this as your coil getting too hot after some driving - i don't think its actually the starter per se. Otherwise it would give problem even during cold starts. Can you just touch any large cylindrical object, like shown in image below, and see if its too hot to touch ? If it is, then put a damp cloth on it to cool it down and see if you can start. If yes, then replace that. I think it should be around 2-3K - but really have no idea of current rates. Like i said, there's very little to tinker around in ECU fuel injected engines these days with power this and power that. 10-15 year back my dad used to get us to open the bonnet and check few things before every drive ! Be careful - use a cloth to touch it. switch off engine before that. don't put your hand near radiator fans - they start even when engine is off If it is not hot. Then post here if your started is making revolutions or not ?

    ACs with 'Invertor' technology have a variable speed compressor (power is converted to DC to control compressor speed - hence the name 'invertor') So, instead of Stop-Start compressor operation, invertor ACs continuosly increase or decrease compressor speed to maintain the required constant temperature. This results in significant power savings as frequent starting takes up immense power, and even more importantly there is much less wear tear and maintenance. Good side effect is that there is no momentary voltage fluctuation every time some AC in the house starts or stops. Its definitely a much more sensible technology. I don't know why invertor ACs are not available with star rating.
  15. Hari, i am getting many google results saying external hard disk can be connected to ASUS RT-N16 300. Can you check first 3-4 results and tell me if you have a different device or a similar wifi router supporting printers through USB. If its just a wifi router supporting usb printers, then it will support external HDDs. If the configuration page doesn't show any HDD when you attach it then try to login to the router with telnet and type dmesg and see last 4-5 lines if they mention anything about your usb hdd. BTW, why is it called a Modem ? Is it sharing printers over WiFi or over GSM/CDMA network ? searching for "ASUS RT-N16 300 print server modem" gives me these models. Are these the same as yours ?

  17. I need a 1 or 2 TB USB 3.0 HDD (w/o requiring external power). Earlier deals given in the topic are no longer present. Does any one have any idea what's the best price i can get ? I am getting 1 TB USB 3 for Rs 6-7K on LSB or Flipkart.

  20. The solution is not to have more and more rules but to stop having such stupid rules in the first place. Otherwise we'll end up in a scenario where you need to submit documents to drink water ! Because, bad guys drink water so it'll help catch them if records were available of everyone who is drinking water. The logic is the same.
  21. Oh ! So that's why it shows '4 left' against all my songs. I was thinking what it means. I just bought few hundred rupees worth of favorite individual tracks to see if the quality is better than what i have. And also because i think its very good that someone has finally started selling individual tracks for a reasonable price and this should catch on like itunes in other countries. Otherwise you have to buy full album and media cos ensure that only 2-3 songs are really good (other good songs they hold back for different albums with the not so good songs as fillers) Though TPB has high quality songs in flac format which i have found to be of quite good quality (unless the uploader is an idiot) but still its actually very good that there's some legal source. They should do this for Movies and TV programs also. And maybe tracks should be Rs 5/- with some competition.

  23. I have a dongle in which i use RCOM 3G prepaid Sim and for data recharge the only way is 3rd party sites or going to webworld I have used rechargeguru.com many times and its been quite good and fast. It will not be instant (like myservices) but will happen in 30-60 minutes
