I dont know what exact law in india is , but usually changing imei ir esn or meid is ideally and should be considered illegal if u are harming someone else monetarily For me changing esn of your own phone with esn of your own sim / handset isnt illegal , PAR MERE BOLNE YA SOCHNE SE KYA HOTA HAI !!

Well this is what i get on sprint Ans its totally unlimited , its usage is not even showed in phone bill , thats truely unlimited and un counted for me !!!

without msid u cannot use 1X voice or data at all u should always note it down .... what were u using before this phone was it a sim based phone ??? if so your old ruim will still be having your MSID put your old ruim in nokia or lg or samsung and read your msid ad put it on pixi

when u do ota update on evo it also updates your mip profiles to sprint settings thats why you have to re provision your phone to work with reliance data again by re setting mip profiles this is common issue and has occured to most people who ota latest evo update

u just cant say that froyo is no better than eclair It depends on ur use If u wanna use skype on phone or flash u will need froyo , theres no other way dont expect much from CM coz its officially not supported , The phone reboot problem has been since all beta builds of froyo and it exists on many devices also in EB13 ....

as i see lot of people have problems updating their bbs to new OS either they brick their device or while updating they get FATAL ERROR FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO UPDATE UR BBS WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE OR RISK OF BRICKING 1) go to blackberry site and download os of ur choice 2) go to c:/program files / common files/ reseacrh in motion/ app loader / and delete vendor.xml file 3) install the os 4) again go to same path as step 2 and delete vendor.xml file 5) dont use desktop manager 6) make sure ur OS is in following folder c:/program files / common files/ research in motion/ shared / loader files 7) go to app loader folder and double click on loader.exe 8) it will open up apploader wizard click next , it will show list of available updates 9) type next and select options as per ur wish 10) it will take 10-20 mins and ur device will be updated safely

When i carried my epic to usa , i already had an international roaming evdo prl After coming here , phone latched to sprint towers and calls and sms also worked , though evdo didnt work here and i got only 1X data here on sprint . Any clean esn phone can be activated here on verizon or sprint , without need of SSN , but u need to pay a heavy security deposit of 500-600$ any bad esn phone can be activated here without SSN on metro and cricket which are cheap prepaid services and one doesnt need any deposits here .

This problem of cannot establish reliable data connection , is more common in 2.2 roms AND THE MAIN REASON IS THAT YOUR PHONE IS IN ESN MODE THIS PROBLEM WILL GO AWAY WHEN UR PHONE IS IN MEID MODE this problem is similar to app catalogue not working in esn mode pixi and pre , but it works in meid mode for that either get med ruim and make ur evo meid based or get it registered with its meid

OK guys after some tinkering i finally got the evdo prl of tata THANKS TO SAKET FOR USING HIS TATA OMH RUIM AND CORBY I had tested this prl on couple of phones at it shows EV sign , and on *228 connects to TATA but since i dont use tata , so i need more people , using imported handsets on tata ,to load it and see if it works for all. btw this is Concatenated Prl . tata evdo prl.rar

I would suggest go for some other phone like HTC Hero or Incredible or Samsung Epic, you can buy it on rimweb.... If you want to use EVDO with android , then this is option

waste of money donot buy there are cheaper routers available on ebay which can allow u to plug in ur usb dongle straight away also Reliance GSM and others will be HSPA+ , so why to invest 11000rs in HSDPA routers PS: Tmobile USA , has HSPA+ networks and they call it as "4G " , though technical definition of 4G is different , but all operator started calling all networks with speeds above conventional 3G networks as 4G So wimax , HSPA+ are called as 4G , though according to definition they are not So if we consider that , our 3G networks should be at par with USA "4G" coz even we are getting HSPA+ ., so if u go by USA operator definitions we already will be having "4G" ....lol Also HSPA+ is faster than Wimax , so though we are talking about 3G , but in HSPA+ areas we actually would be getting speeds equivalent to what they call 4G in usa !!!
