Dear Friends, I have a query for interchange of laptop chargers & I am sure that it will be useful to many of us who has 2 or more laptops (mainly office / home) or uses their laptop at two different locations. I have used word - laptop charger, but also mentioned @ many places as AC adapter. I have following three chargers with me. Charger 1 Office Fujitsu Laptop Make - Fujitsu Input - 100-240 V, 1.2-0.6 A, 50-60 Hz Output : 19 V, 4.22 A Charger 2 Home Samsung Laptop Make - Samsung Input - 100-240 V, 1.5 A, 50-60 Hz Output : 19 V, 3.16 A Charger 3 Old HP Laptop - only charger available. Make - HP Input - 100-240 V, 1.7 A, 50-60 Hz Output : 18.5 V, 3.5 A, 65 W All charger output PIN polarity is same. i.e. + in center & - in outside. Input pin dimensions are different, but assume that we can manage connectors (male/female), which can connect any charger with any laptop, without any polarity change. Now, my questions are : 1) Is it possible to use Charger 2 (with 3.16 A) to charge office laptop (which has 4.22 A charger) ? Voltage is same for both the chargers. 2) Is it possible to use a charger 3 (with 18.5 V) to charger office / home laptop (which uses 19 V chargers). 3) Are there any adverse effect on laptop hardware (like mother board / battery) due to interchange of any of these chargers ? 4) Does, laptop OEM put any restriction in laptop, which senses change of chargers & gives message or malfunction. I have used lastpass for bank website & it works fine. Even, I have two on line accounts with same bank & it works perfectly with both of them.. No idea about security features. but I mainly use ICICI bank, where for fund transfer, there are multiple layers of security like grid on debit card + some pin number sent on mobile phone. So, not worried too much for that part. Other option I use is Google Drive, store password + login details + URL in either excel sheet or in document format. So, whenever you want to login, you can access URL from the same sheet & then copy/paste passwords. Google drive allows you to store those documents offline on your PC, so no problem, when not on line.

I am looking forward for a solution to dial phone number from a PC.. Scheme is like this : In our office, we have Siemens HiPath 4000 system for telephones. Few of the landline (LL) instrument provided to various users are Optipoint 500 - standard. These LL phone has a USB connection (1.1 type), which can be connected to our computers. Now, my query / requirement is that can we install some software on our PC (with win7, 64 bit), so that we can dial phone numbers from computer to these landline ? It is only about controling the landline basic behaviour - of dialing numbers. No complicated functionalities (like voice data transfer from landline to PC, use landline as a modem etc) is required. The advantage we want is to dial from PC so that we don't have to retrieve a number from Outlook PC & then, lift the receiver & dial the number ( & also ensure that number is correctly dialed). This will also help us to have a central database of phone numbers so not everyone has to make an excel file on their PC. Looking forward for some soultion which only reuqires minimum investment.. Hope, my requirement / need is clear. And expect a rock solid soultion from this great forum. PS : I have manuals for all these equipments, but they have only helped me to get confused further. I guess you must have done it already, but if not, you have one more option. 1) On PC/laptop go to google play website. Login with your details. 2) In the bottom end of web page, click on "My Orders & Settings" 3) Check the list of applications you (or ) have downloaded from AM 4) In the last column, there is link to "Report". Click on that. 5) Now, select your issue "I'd like to request a refund" 6) It will mention further steps to be carried out on phone itself. Do that. 7) Also, fill up the text box with your genuine refund justification. 8) Wait. Maybe, this should directly reach to google play concerned teams & before revenue share occurs (between developer, advertiser & google), they may be in a position to refund..Hope you get this.. PS : I have not tried this.

Solved !! Solved !! ATMT code forgotten in LG 6210 I only had posted above problem & eventually just by simply reading the manual, problem is solved. If ATMT is active in this phone & when a new RUIM is inserted, it sends message to the people we have registered to send ATMT message. They receive an SMS which says "This mobile is possibly stolen by the current user, ATMT Code : xxxx". This xxxx is itself a 4 digit ATMT code & same can be used to deactivate ATMT. This is mentioned in the manual & I have tried it & it works. Hope, this can help others..

Hi, thanks for the reply. but, getting this hardware is not possible due to (1) cost reasons & (2) our strict IT policy may not allow this kind of 'too much' interference by a device into their network or create an additional modem facility. Our preference is only some simple software + driver by which we connect Optipoint 500 phone with computer, then it is desirable. Thanks Rajanbhai, I have installed USB driver. But, no idea, if they are functional, since OS is Win7 & Siemens has stopped upgrading software fot this product since 2010. After installing drivers, I have taken some screen shot. It's all nuisance going on @ KFA & govt, dgca, banks etc are playing a big circus since last few months (or years !!). At the end common public (who have their money in psu banks) & staff is suffering. When, it air line was making losses since 2005, what where the banks doing ? Did they ever realized the need to extrapolate this losses & see a bleak future ? They kept on giving loans & in turn KFA became a spoiled child of a rich dad, as it was money all the time. Refer a lengthy post somewhere on this forum about how a large part of the debt was converted into equity by banks @ a very very high price of share (60 Rs +) & in turn banks also became share holder (20%+) of the KFA. Now when KFA is staring at shutdown, there will be no taker for those papers !! As if only giving loan was not sufficient, banks also became share holders. Joke all the time. Even with continuing operational problems since last one year DGCA was enjoying all drama & never bothered to raise an alarm bell. Even after so much of delay they gave 15 days notice & after 15 days they merely suspended the license (which is still not taken seriously by promoters), as it seems to be an eyewash, for common people (to make them believe that they are there !!) Mgmt is taking it one such letter from DGCA with a statement that once we submit our revival plan, we can continue with this license & also ensure that now employees can cry for 8-9 months of unpaid salary instead of 7 months. Apart from owners, two main culprit here, govt/dgca & banks. Banks are even bigger culprit, as it was not only KFA's future, but even their money was also at stake. Same PSU banks, will screw people out (in terms of collateral / security) for buying simple house or car etc..pathetic.

Can anyone help me to reset this ? Or any other option ? Is it the case, that to reset ATMT code / or factory reset, I need to have earlier / original RUIM card in the phone, which was first used ? I know, it's android world now !! so keeping my fingers crossed. but it's a charity work to give someone a phone, who can't afford it, otherwise. so, hopefully, I get some solution for this ?

@Sougata, Frankly, I couldn't find any special effect attributed to color splash. Maybe, you can post a raw image (the original photo) & then, alongwith it you can post edited image to give us more idea about the improvement effected.

There are two other options, meeting above spec requirement. HTC incredible 2 & HTC evo design. Both Gsm + CDMA & 4" screen, and inc2 is with 8 mp. with some rom modification inc2, can be made to work with any cdma/gsm sim card. both will be available below 20k, here on forum & ebay.in as well. But, only one radio (either cdma / gsm) will be active at a time. There are some options available in motorola as well, but I don't have much information as of now. btw, it was surprising to know SII is available in cdma/gsm version !! And this forum has yet to see it in buy/sell section. Any RS listening ?
