  1. @LTE4G Good point, reg the possibility of call being restricted from JIO's end as well, to minimize IUC payments... Now I have seen that only 100 calls / minutes free per day limit applicable for prepaid users in JIO. NOT sure, if its a welcome offer thingy or applicable for all, especially in Rs149 plan. I am sure nobody will care about that in JWO, as calls are hardly connecting. For Rs149 per 28 days, if they apply the same limit (100 mins per day) that brings to 2800 minutes for Rs149 and with current IUC of 14p / min it comes to around Rs392. That Rs243 loss can be easily adjusted by IUC from incoming calls [14p/min income by IUC] and Jio2Jio calls (no need to pay IUC for the calls), unused FREE calls per day, overage charges @ 2p/sec in home and Rs0.45 / Rs0.80 / Rs1.15 during roaming. Simply put, FREE calls is NOT a big deal / loss for JIO, imho...
  2. Coupon code is still a must... MNP for now is not a good decision, even for secondary connections. AVoId group will never give enough poi till the end of freebies as they don't have any other weapon to counter the jio freebies and avoid port out of their customers. Even if trai slaps them with penalty, they will say, we are increasing poi, it will be OK within weeks, but still deliberately not give enough poi for sure. So wait for the drama to complete by 31-dec-16. But one thing is for sure, if jio increases the free usage till March 2016, then real high end users will get annoyed of jio without any doubt. Except few of high end users who got early access to jio services [like us], most of them are waiting for end of free services. They really don't care much about free services, don't like standing in lines, don't like the way DX store guys [due to heavy work load] treat, don't like to wait few weeks for activation. For them, even paying double for services is better than bearing those annoyances and that's where AVoId rules. The people who are ready to stand in line for hours doing nothing will not really help jio in ARPU. But, If you still want to try MNP on jio for your tertiary number [hardly used for calls], then look for a DX store with NO lazy guys [hard to find] and also having eKYC facility + blank sim availability. Finding such a store is slightly easier than finding an unicorn. I have got all my jio sims from other state as the DX Mini guys in my hometown are good for nothing, super lazy+ dumb, burden for jio. All the best. sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  3. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

@vygavedha have you enables GPS? Enabling GPS makes the process faster and use non-Airtel/Vodafone/Idea number for OTP...
  4. Nope. It will be moved to jwo sooner than later. Earlier they said jpo will continue confirmed for jiofi2 [bought on 3rd week of August] at least [which I know is not correct]. But today I got mail that my plan was moved to jwo after a month time on jpo... Enjoy it till it lasts [most probably by one month max].. sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  5. I know someone here whose (secondary) numbers are used to test MNP and NMNP, many months before Jio launch (sep 05 - 2016)...
  6. Obviously 128kilo bits per second. Only Bsnl gives 1Mbps / 128KBps after fup in their broadband plans... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  7. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Not possible till now. Only possible way is selling [dumping] it on olx, but there are too many ChoRCom wipods for sale in olx already... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  8. JioFi2 MiFi

It surely will work. Actually the sim that came with the mifi was locked to be used in that device, but not vice versa. It supports any jio sim [provided it's not jpo one -- but almost all jpo are converted to jwo by now] and of course it won't support other network's sim cards obviously... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  9. The fight has started for MNP by Mukesh.. But I think it is better to wait till Dec 2016, imho...
  10. JioFi2 MiFi

Supports band 3, 5 and 40. Price 2000/- comes with 2600mAh battery. Can connect 10 devices via wifi and one via USB. sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  11. JioFi2 MiFi

I just want to add only one precaution to the list. Never use Airtel / Vodafone / idea number as alternate number for otp... Those greedy p!gs never allow even the otp Sms from jio to reach their customers.... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  12. Reliance Jio launched on September 5

Reason is, there are a lot number of 4G phones WITHOUT VoLTE support {and most are NOT ready to upgrade to volte ones in near future} and their Jio4gVoice app is, you all know how it is. So they need 2G voice fallback. Initially it may look attractive to be a BSNL user, but the same thing happened when RCom announced 4G tieup with Jio. People are of opinion that its better to use RCom for 4G (with 3G/2G fallback) than investing in volte phone, but see what is the situation now??? I guess Mukesh makes sure that there will be ZERO advantage for BSNL in this deal.. Let us wait and watch..
  13. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Yes... But heard that MTNL sux in Delhi. Please check the MTNL 3G speed in your area and proceed..
  14. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

If at all, you need to change the SIM, change using MNP... Any operator is better than ChoRCom, as your money will be safe...
  15. Reliance Jio launched on September 5

Forgot calls, those trolls are even blocking otp Sms for jio join... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  16. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Buy a tiny wifi USB adapter from Amazon around Rs150 and enjoy wifi tethering.. sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  17. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

Yes.. But VoLTE works in iPhone6 onwards including 5SE.. The reason is apple wants you to buy their higher cost phones and are NOT happy to see the 5S as the most sold iPhone in India..
  18. Which version of HTC M9 will work with Jio?

Have you activated 4g pack and check? sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  19. Which version of HTC M9 will work with Jio?

Am not talking about volte ji, that will surely not work. I am talking about 4g LTE data. Further OP said that band 26 was unlocked [may be he knows how to unlock it] and so then it will work with jio 4g. sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  20. Which version of HTC M9 will work with Jio?

No need to unlock. Band 5 is sub band of band 26. So if a phone supports band 26, it automatically supports band 5 as well... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  21. VoWifi

Airtel has been blocking even the otp Sms for the jio join verification for last ten days... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  22. Both of you didn't get what I said.. P.S. there was no typo in my previous post [number 8] in this thread... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  23. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Because RCom has NO own 2G network in Bihar and may be while patching they have disabled roaming on Vodafone.. WHO KNOWS another patch may be again needed to enable this..
  24. You mean that button Wala sansui phone? sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
  25. Which version of HTC M9 will work with Jio?

This means only band 5 is supported in that phone... No band 3 and most importantly no band 40 support. One useless information, it supports band 41 to be used by Bsnl, but only God knows when... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
