They are switching off the (CDMA) towers in places where revenue is NOT high... Port out from TataCDMA to TataGSM is allowed and NOT vice-versa.. But they will never close CDMA business till they get GSM spectrum in Delhi.. They may shut down CDMA business when technology-neutral wrt spectrum was approved by GoI...

1080p on a 5" display is over kill imho... Nobody needs over 400ppi resolution, as human eye can't tell difference between 330 and 400 ppi resolution.. It will be more helpful in killing CPU/GPU + battery than anything useful or our viewing pleasure.. Sent from my Razr MAXX using Tapatalk2

You just update your note to ics, so that it will receive JB in the near future without much issue... Heard that s2 and note are going to get JB very fast, even network locked note will get JB before end of this year... If you are not satisfied with stock ics performance, go for custom ROM (ics based)... There is little difference between GB TW and ICS TW, but hell lot of difference between pure GB and pure ICS (cm9).. Even pure ics is million times better than TW ICS, imho... Always format first from your mobile phone.. That way, you need not worry about the FS and everything.. If it still shows 32 GB, then it may be fake card.. Don't worry Karthik ji, the slight lag will fly away when it gets JB update... I have used both ICS and JB in my GNexus, JB is like ICS in steroids... GNexus screen/phone size is perfect comparing GNote (or atleast for me), imho... Can you please post the S-Memo and S-Planner (and other S-Pen tools) apk files here or Android sub-forum (I think your GNote is rooted now)??? I am using a Rs325 two-in-one pen (bought from eBay) as S-Pen in my GNexus... BTW, good review and +1 for the same...

Go for wifi router device by micromax, which comes to around Rs2499 from ebay.in and you just need to connect it via wifi.. Even its having auto apn facility.. By default it comes without password, but you can set one via settings... This is the best device to connect your 3G Sim to your laptop via wifi, without need for any installations... USSD is working good in Droid Razr.. I am using one.. Since you are not too keen on custom ROM and such activities, its locked bootloader will not be an issue for you, imho Further Parin ji has like new Razr in your budget. Be aware that in photon 1. USSD codes do not work in prepaid. Meaning checking balances through short codes like *123# etc etc won't work 2. Bootloader is locked. So if you're someone who likes to experiment with different ROMs then this is not the phone for you. Yes, you can unlock the bootloader but still other phones come with unlocked bootloaders thereby minimising chances of bricking your phone while unlocking. Sent from my rotary phone 1. Latest firmware version (which makes recording 1080p videos on Photon's camera) makes Photon's bootloader UnLockable...
