    Yes Sprint Moto E does work out of box. I am using the same on Reliance CDMA sim post Hitesh Bhai fixed the FRP lock issue and it is working fine on the latest from.Sent from my XT1031 using Tapatalk

    I am ok with using custom rom even CM12. Challenge is how do i install the same as the phone is not rooted. I can't root the same as it is not in developer mode. Can't go into developer mode as it is asking for the google account username and password for the previous owner. Stuck in a catch 22 situation, I also checked as suggest by Dr faramroze, but did not get any local guy with a box, who can fix this issue. Any suggestions are welcome, as i am stuck with a phone and desperately want to get this working.

    Is there any way to remove the FRP on moto e . I got a phone from US where the previous owner did not remove his Google account and did a factory reset and shipped the phone to me, now post factory reset I am unable to log in . Post connecting to WiFi it asks for the user details of the previous synced account and does not proceed further . Sent from my XT1031 using Tapatalk

    I have been using one plus one for over an year, frankly I do not see the need to buy or switch over to one plus 2. The specs may be an overkill. As my one plus one does the same stuff and had no issues at all. The only thing that it brings in is a dual sim option. Which is something not everyone may look for.Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

  16. Just saw the news today of Reliance merger with MTS. Is there any good news coming for CDMA users like me who have network issues with reliance. Will they share cell sites and towers too. So that signal and connectivity of Reliance improves.   18. Thanks, as the phone i am getting has already been activated on Sprint for testing by the seller, i will put the sim inside and test the same to see what all works. Will update post hopefully everything should work fine. It will take 2 weeks for me to get the phone. So waiting for the same now.
  19. Just went through the long thread and posts. I have ordered Sprint Moto E from US. Wanted to check if there is anything specific i would need to do in it to get it working with my Tata indicom sim. From whatever i have read i just put the sim and it should just work right out of the box. Also as per last post from Djrocks, he has mentioned that i can activate the device on 5.02 and then upgrade to 5.1 . The seller who i have bought from has mentioned that he did activate the phone to test the same out.So is there anything else i would need to do from my end to get it to working for voice and data. Or everything should just work out of the box now.

  23. Hi all, Bought a EC 315 yesterday to use from a person who was selling locally. I spent the entire day yesterday but could not get it to work with the RUIM slot. Post googling and reading i tried everything from upgrading to downgrading the firmware, installing Huawei default firmware, tried multiple versions of DFS, also tried CDMA workshop. The issue i am facing is after saving the settings of changing NV to RUIM only when i do the reset command . After reboot the settings go back to NV only it does not stick to ruim. Due to this it is not detecting and reading the sim card inside. i tried multiple versions of DFS, tried CDMA workshop. Tried different OS also 8.1, Windows 7 but was unable to make the settings stick. I had bought this to use my sim with the dongle but looks like it is not happening. Any inputs, ideas and thoughts would be appreciated to get this working, as of now i have run out of most options that i could try or are available. Need help from the Gurus here to get this running.
