I am really glad to see an Indian portal for songs. I can not forget the day when amazon.com CC refused to sell me a song because I had Indian Debit Card only. (that weird song was available only on amazon.com) I hope I will be able to find my kind of music on Indian portals too.

I also once got connected with the emergency number. The one picked up the phone asked me in hindi about some file (in pure sarkari-style) and when I said sorry to him that I got connected by mistake, he said "its okay, I thought you are from a police station". That was a weird experience as I was not in any emergency situation.

Too intrusive!

As much I know, you need to be registered in the voter's list of the area where you want to vote (this is mandatory). You are provided a voter ID card which shows that you are a resident of that area. In addition to a voter ID card (issued for the same constituency where you are going to vote) you can show any of other documents as your identity/residence proof such as passport / ration card / driving license / office ID card issued by state/central office which shows you are resident of the same address against which you are registered in voter's list.

You should write to TRAI to complain about this.

Is it so? I tried hard to get a retailer around CST in Mumbai who does recharge for MTS. There was none! Every retailer asked me to switch over to other operator. The situation was a bit better, albeit not good, in Navi Mumbai for MTS. Then how come the Mumbaikars giving huge profits to MTS, so that they don't come out with data plans for mobiles? There are not many MTS retailers in Delhi also. And its quite difficult to find easy-recharge kiosks for MTS also. In Delhi, MTS is not offering/marking any of its post-plans either. Still, I have this clear information that MTS is making profits from Delhi. I don;t know the details in their books, but its like this only. and if you compare data plans in different states, I find their plans for Delhi, most expensive.

Reason is simple, others are giving profits to mts..

its a simple case of blocking your port request. Even airhell did this with me. I sent a port request about three times, they deducted money each time and i didn't received the code. Then i called cc and asked them to send it. I received the code after that. Their stupid attempt to block my migration resulted in a stronger will to leave their network.
