  1. How MNP is being handled or entertained by Jio stores ? Not seen in Mumbai yet. Are they accepting request directly or one has to again generate coupon code on his 4G handset to avail MNP also.
  2. It is possible - 1.8 Lakh SIM per day from approx. 2000 stores results in 90 SIM per day per store (180000 / 2000 = 90). After commercial launch the sim will also be available with other retailers / Shopkeepers as well and the number of Reliance mini stores will also increase over time. Not a big deal to achieve - if the services and prices remain consistent of course.
  3. Yes ! you are right. My SIM (collected on 26th August) was activated on 4rth September with JPO and later converted to JWO on 6th September.
  4. Something weird of fishy.... How did you got the sim without filling CAF or completing e-KYC ? They can not give SIM without taking customer details. Did you took the SIM by doing e-KYC (Aadhar number based verification using Thumb impression) ? - If so then you don't need to submit any other document or Photo etc. Did you provide them your alternate number ? If so then wait for the welcome SMS. It may take days ( more than 5 - 6 days). Hence wait patiently. You will receive 2 or three different messages. Once you receive the message that "your Sim is ready for televerification" you can put the sim in your VoLte handset and dial 1977 for televerification.
  5. Wait for 24 Hours and things will get sorted by itself. All processing is getting affected/delayed due to large number of activation processing.
  6. Jio Mobile

Leg pulling Game is ON everywhere.
  7. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

Find out with the CC - it could be the charges for App to App calling introduced in Delhi.
  8. This is not true - Although some Mini store people are saying they are giving 50 SIMs per day. When I took SIM from Reliance Digital (BIG) they issued token to approx. more than 200 people with two days dates ( I was almost behind 80 - 90 person) and got the SIM the very next day in spite of that the CAF was filled manually in those days as e-KYC was not introduced till then. So I think it is based upon the density (customer base) in the area as well as man power at the store to handle the number of customers. This 50 SIM limit is being announced by the small stores by themselves to avoid crowd turn up and to reduce their work load (they had never ever before worked like this in the store and had good leisure time instead). Further there are 4 Digital Xpress mini and 1 Big Reliance Digital in my locality alone (Mira - Bhayandar, Mumbai) so there might be more than 200 stores in Mumbai itself. Apart from FREE SIM they are also selling LYF handsets and JioFi Devices bundled with SIM which is accounted separately. Further the LYF handset is being sold by other Big retailers like Vijay Sales, Croma etc. as well as small Shopkeepers too and their CAF is processed separately. LYF product is being sold online too at Flipkart, Amazon, eBay etc. and their SIM request is also accounted separately. So the actual number of Jio connections getting activated per day is much more than what you have mentioned as per your calculation (the reason behind delay in handling activation). All said and done still Jio needs to strengthen their man power to handle more connections.
  9. JioFi2 MiFi

Because of too many simultaneous downloads the server keeps connection on wait while switching other users connected. Can be explained in this way - Just like not everyone is successful in getting SIM and those who managed are also waiting for activation because of over rush. Same goes for apps also - MyJio is at the top in Google Play Store, though it is only being downloaded in India and that too only by 4G handset users who want Jio Sim. This reflects the traffic load on Play Store server - leave apart other apps.
  10. Jio Mobile

Internet speed depends on several factors. Even if I am on a High Speed network and connected to a server which is slow because of much traffic my speed will drop accordingly. Since Jio is FREE people are dowloading or watching movies or other stuff and what not whether they need it or not - hence all servers have become slow because of heavy network traffic. Try to send a file from your end to someone on the jio network at the other end and you can see the difference in speed. Microsoft servers were also very slow worldwide on the day when Windows 10 Anniversary update was released because everyone was downloading the ISO across the globe - it was not even connecting to the server to start download due to traffic. After 2 - 3 days the microsoft connections were rocking and I was able to download 2.6 GB in 49 minutes on Rcom 4G. Read details here.
  11. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

OT I think @Ashokjp was talking about the old APK "JioJoin" and you are talking about "MyJio" for generating code to get Jio SIM.
  12. They are not in a position to handle MNP for general public at present. They are concentrating in just issuing New SIM and increase the number of subscribers as many as by January. So porting might start from January.
  13. Audio Conference with up to 6 participants & Video Conference with up to 4 participants.
  14. Internet speed is always in bits. 128 kbps means approx. 16 Kilobytes (15.625 exactly). Ok for browsing only.
  15. Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Who will buy Rcom Wipod (locked) when RJio JioFi is available at ₹1999.00 with JWO free till 31st December 2016.
  16. Yes! As long as the client (dialled number) supports video call.
  17. To set up a voice conference call: • Make a voice call to the first party as usual • While on that call, click on 'Add Call' to call the second party Note: When the second call is being established, the first call will be automatically put on hold. You can swap between the two calls. • Tap Merge to join the two calls and form a 3-party conference call • Repeat the above step to add 7 more participants and make it 8-party conference call.
  18. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

How is your data working ? If your IMEI is blocked then SIM should fail to register on the network. Try to enable Global under Network settings in Jio4GVoice as mentioned at the end of my main post here.
  19. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

By doing so how is Jio benefited ?
  20. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

Finally ! solved. updated main post with your solution - so that it may help others facing similar issue.
  21. JioFi2 MiFi

JioFi and LYF bundled SIMs are getting activated within 3 to 5 days or even earlier. They are handling bundled SIM on priority basis and Only SIM candidates are getting pushed further back.
  22. Jio4GVoice App (JioJoin)

Jio4GVoice works attached to a Jio number as well as a Device IMEI or Serial. In some handset Jio SIM is not properly recognized and cannot authenticate. Please explain your scenario to be able to understand the exact situation.
  23. Suggest good 4G postpaid plan

Vodafone is giving 1GB for 28 days for ₹147.00 (Mumbai) since April this year (Dial *121# for Offer and recharge - Plan is 375MB but balance is credited within 15 minutes whereas its mentioned 1 Hour) So the costing is ₹0.143 per MB (Lowest compare to all)
  24. Reliance 4G Data Pack Offers

AFAIK it will NOT work as a normal WiFi adapter if you connect it to USB.
