have experienced problems opening contacts, explorer etc on your home cooked roms

can you offer me a solution on a CD with all required downloads and stepwise procedures, and maybe some help over the phone as well.

most importantly the basic features of the phones must be up and working fine.

what will be the donation consideration for my request?

this means before downloading new F rom u first download extended rom via root of sdcard. after u take the process of downloading the f rom in ur touch

Requires 2.31 MFG Bootloader and Sprint 3.37.15 Radio ROM Please Follow PPCGeeks Method to get it

1. Download and load HardSPL 2.31 MFG from

2. Download Sprint 3.02 ROM with 3.37.15 Radio from here and Load it to Vogue (But dont run Sprint Customisation or else SPC will be Reset)

1. You can put your Vogue in the bootloader mode by first switching off your device & then by pressing the camera button & power on button together. your screen will display 4 colors. This is the bootloader mode.

2. Download the MFG bootloader on your computer & run the ROMupdateutility.exe file. You can also read the readme.doc for complete instructions on connecting your vogue to your PC. MFG bootloader is loaded on the vogue just as you would load new ROM.

3. Once your bootloader is updated (now the bootloader screen will display the following) :

VOGU100 MFG

SPL-2.31.Coke

CPLD-3

Now you can upload the sprint 3.02 rom

No one will laugh at you as the sole purpose of this forum is to help fellow rimwebians. If not for techies like Hetal, Ashok etc, we would be stuck with 19th century handsets offered by reliance or buy a PPc 6700 at exhorbitant prices.

Anyway, I suggest you go thru this thread carefully as most of your questions would be answered.

i tried in two differest USB but it is not updating..

@hetal: Boss, a few of the shortcuts on the Today of the new ROM are left blank or do not point to the intended applications.

eg: The iContacts shortcut on the main tab, the Internet shortcut on the Net tab, Multimedia shortcut on media tab etc.

Is there some way I can edit those broken shortcuts and get them to work again?

I presume that installing the iContacts app should take care of the first shortcut, but I dont want iContacts as I already have PhotoContactsPro loaded instead. Is there some way that I can point the Photocontacts shortcut to the missing shortcut on the Today tab?

Click & press on the tab with your stylus & you will be taken to a window where one can add, edit, delete shortcuts & lot of other things.
