This 1 sec billing plans are really far superior to the Reliance Simple 99 and 399 plans.

But when it comes to roaming, RIM's plan blew Aircel away @ 50p/min for incoming/outgoing local/STD mobile/landline onnet/offnet calls and that too at 99Rs per month...

The pay per second pulse (PPSP) is useful only for those people who make very short duration calls like the ones to your driver to get the car (max maybe 10 secs). It is not at all useful for BF-GFs, Husband-wife, business calls (which lasts on an average at 1.5 minutes or more). The PPSP is charged at 1ps per sec so your per minute call cost will be 60ps and not 50ps like in SR99/399.

After using for a month, you will notice that the net savings is not all that attractive. And with RCOM's new local calling packs, it has become all the more better and attractive....

These are my views, others' opinions may vary....

^^^ Exactly the reason why i am not a fan of 1-sec pulse. I still believe per-minute billing at 50p(RCOM) or 40p(TATA) is more attractive.

No DoCoMo already has post-paid plans for 1sec billing... Those tailor made plans with 3 to 10 toppings... :SI:

If your calls lasts more than a min (even 50% of your calls) then this one second pulse is useless :NOTriste: comparing the 30p/min and even 50p/min offer of Reliance...

This 1 sec scheme is very useful for people who gives lots of missed calls to others, since they need not fear if others will attend their call, since they need to pay 1p only... :rofl_200:

I made a study of my outgoing and incoming calls. Average of all the calls work out to 40 seconds. So I feel this 1 sec billing will be very very useful. See if your call is above 1 minute, say 1 minute 20s, it is still cheaper. This 1s is not suitable for people who speak a lot continuously. Even for them Aircel has the 1000 minutes Aircel to Aircel pack.

So I feel this plan is the best so far
