R-connect Dormancy/disconnection: Solved With Ping

Could not get anything! pls elaborate.

u can see an icon in the system tray after connected to net.

single-click or double-click on it, and goto "Details" tab (in Windows XP)

u can see here Server IP address.

then ping using this IP address.

Thats it!

hi there... i got you point but as i am a novoice please let me know the procedure of pinging from the start so that it will help not only me but other fellow who are new to pinging

And to Re-Connect I had to remove phone from USB cable.

Do not know why you have to remove the Phone from USB cable

Any way niket try my utility... It may solve your problem... Rconnect does not go to dormancy when i have this running even if i am not doing any thing on the system.

Seems we need to change the address every time we log on to the net <_< I used Tracert.exe to trace the route and found the First hop to be most effective.
