Bought a Maruti ALTO Lxi 2011 model today, Silky Silver, and gifted to my factory manager; On road costed me3.05L (including insurance, rto, discounts etc.)

Fitted it with Convex 2 DIN Music System, 5 series, with USB, SD Card, Aux In, CD model CDM-2D601/5S for 3.5K; Speakers convex oval 3 way 1600/-; Front 4" with dome tweeters 850/-; Total cost 6.4K including rear parcel tray, antenna, fitting etc.

Also fitted AutoCop Remote Locking system model 2000 for 2.3K; and car charging point (lighter) 100 bucks...

Can you please tell where did you get the music system/speakers and the fitting done in delhi. I need a new system for my car and do not want to splurge to much on the same.

I got it fitted from Meerut not Delhi; Its of Convex brand and you should be able to get it at Lajpat Nagar Market in Delhi which is a huge car accessory market...

purchased maruti suzuki SX4 for my brother about 15 days ago. oyster blue, diesel, fully loaded with ABS, SRS, central locking, maruti stereo, magwheels, child lock etc at ahmedabad

Reason:

old car, skoda octavia - rider giving problem after 6 years and run more than 1.25 lakh km..

i was pitching for vento, but my dad was keen on maruti.

driving is not that pleasure. its good as other small maruti cars but not that gr8.

mileage: 17kmpl...

i want to change the stereo. its basic that maruti provides with usb connection. but need a better stero.. pls recommend..

What a lovely phone has all features of Fascinate plus a good size smaller than it and biggest addition is Ticker Screen which adds life to it - saving battery - you can see how it works in video below:

Some trick needed to configure SNS though, all you have to do is first login the SNS inbuilt in phone then install FB and login next and same for other SNS dependent service. i am still fighting for RSS to work.

Bought 1 Samsung Galaxy Fit (WHITE) for Rs. 9900/- from a local mobile shop for my Bhabhi.. This is 3rd Android phone in house. Now only wifey remains.. She is relucant from changing her Iphone.. Trying hard 2 convince to switch over to Android. Lolz...

Reason for buying - Wasn't getting proper range for Old cordless phone. Had to use more like a corded phone i.e. near the base station..

Rajanbhai.. the phone is Galaxy FIT and not Galaxy POP.. Secondly, its for my bhabhi..

wifey is fan on iphone.. isn't keen on going for green robot yet...

But, could have defintely saved money in cordless... :'(

Next time will take advice before buying.. :grin:

I miss typed Galaxy POP... Link i have given is for Galaxy Fit Only...

I know the phone is for Bhabhi... But isn't all Wifeys Glad when you spend LESS...

purchased Palm Pixi Plus from hetal for my bro...

Cost: Rs 5500/-

Reason: looking for replacement of his nokia 6275 and he wanted try touch screen and QWERTY phone before buying expensive one. so thought this will be the best. EvDO activation can be done (not opted).

Cost is 38k from eBay.

Also had an option to choose a free gift as eBay Summer offer (ending today) 640GB 2.5" External HDD or Kodak 14MP P&S Camera. Both are priced at 4k on eBay. I opted for 640GB HDD.
