Pc Sync Software For Lg 2130

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I used to sync my LG2130 with my old PC.

But then i upgraded my new PC to XP service pack 2 (the very latest)

and my 2130 to s/w version release 14.

I downloaded the latest LG desktop from Reliance url last week.

Now i tried to sync , but it does not work.

It gives error - unable to connect to the phone.

But the R-connect works fine with the same cable. (USB Local )

Please advice , as what cannbe the problem , and how to pinpoint it.

It may be problem with the installation of sync.software.

Try to uninstall then Install again, then check the port which is using to sync is same Port Number of RConnecT.

It could be because of Service Pack 2 also. I've heard somewhere that there are incompatibility issues with XP SP2.

Option 1

Remove and reinstall the Sync software

Option 2

Try removing XP SP2

Give us feedback.

Wow

Finally done it.

I went to R world, saw its port (COM3) from the Communications tab , and made the same in my LG Configuration.

But i had tried with COM3 earlier also.... but it worked 2day only.

But i have 2 queries

My Motherboard (MB) has 4 USB ports behind and 2 in front.

I understand technically there are only 4 in my MB , the 2 in front run parallel to 2 behind.

But since some devices like my PDA have problem running in parallel , how do i find which 2 ports are not in parallel behind with the front ones.

2)

My XP wants to install the drivers again and again each time i reconnect from my PC my WebCam , LG USB to serial .

Though i dont need to give it the directory of the drivers. but why does it run the install new hardware wizard again , with non - signed driver alert.

:confuse:

Thanks

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition on my Home PC. Its effectively Windows XP + SP2..

Now RConnect is working fine with Lg2030 and LG2130..

But my LGSync software is working only with 2030.. Does the phones have different versions for LG2030 and LG2130.

now at reliance website when you goto handset model page where you get the discription for the particular handset you'll also get the rellevant software the difference is just about one additional dll file add that to your RD2030 package and it would work fine... and try using RD2030 pack only it supports Outlook also...

Dear deepu,

Get this http://www.lgmobiles.com/pcsync_rd2230&2130.exe and enjoy, it works perfectly for LG RD-2030/2130.

Cheers..........
