i am planning to buy photocpy and scanner machine. i have 2 options. Xerox WorkCentre 5020DN or Canon imageRUNNER 2318L

the most specs are common like:

1. duplex printing and DADF tray

2. 18 pages/minute (canon) - 20 pages/minute (xerox)

3. network enabled

4. max A3 size print/scan

xerox pros/cons:

1. 2 pages extra per minute (means faster print/copy)

2. directly send email of scan papers

3. costly: one time cost and ongoing cost, both are high for xerox

4. service is not problem. my dad is using xerox machines for last 15 years at his office

canon pros/cons:

1. slower compare to xerox

2. no email facility

3. very economical

4. service: no experience

Canon:77,000/- + VAT & approx 40p per page

Xerox:1,13,000/- + VAT & 49p per page (service charge)

if see the cost, canon is very very cheap. while xerox is costly in all area. i want to know the service and quality of canon. i have never used any canon product.

i am open to other brands also. :signthankspin: :signthankspin: in advance

Try nokia bh215...i m using got last 1.6 years or so... Best part is that you don't need to keep it on your ear continuously. Its like microphone used by tv anchors. Good battery life, last 2 days or more with avg use... I dnt know whether a lady will like it or not.. but really good.

It has:

Vibration

Ringtone

Volume control

Toggle between bluetooth n handset with a button press

Mute button

"Its wired"

guys, my external TV tuner has "died". i need to buy one on urgent basis. i will use this for PC (LCD Screen) and Tatasky. it was Gadmei and was using for last 4 years.

please suggest which one to buy. I prefer external though internal not rules out. my budget max. Rs 2000/-. I am not too keen for internal as i've micro ATX cabinet and dont whether it has more space to fit this. i already have graphic card, so space within the cabinet would be problem. my wife watches TV and my niece/nephew work on it for projects and games.

thanx..

Too Many models from Indian Brands like Tech-Com, Zebronics, Intex, Umax....All available below Rs 2,000

Most are same stuff...same features...same quality...Can Buy Any...

However if Quality is desired, Go For Brands like Compro and Avermedia. They specialise in TV Tuners...

I have used all...Indian...Compro...Avermedia...

This Indian stuff is no match for them...

The US price for 21.5 2.5GHz Quad Core i5, AMD 6750M, 500GB is $1199 i.e.54K.

On EBay India it is at very low price 55K http://cgi.ebay.in/Apple-iMac-Desktop-21-5-Screen-Warr-Bill-/260789799972?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item3cb8488c24 only doubt is seller is new. This deal is practically same price as buying in USD.

Sometime back letsbuy.com was offering a 10 % discount on MRP using ICICILB.

They probably have stopped that now..you missed out.

Apple products are really cheap in Hong Kong, if you know anyone who can ship it from there you may save approx 10-15 K. Check out on apple's Hong Kong site for prices.

Hi frnds,

I recently bought media player which is working fine. ()

The only thing left is 5.1 ch audio. The media player supports Digital audio out

Audio

• Analog stereo output

• Signal to noise ratio (1 kHz): > 90 dB (A-weighted)

• Dynamic Range (1 kHz): > 80 dB (A-weighted)

• Frequency response: +/-0.2 dB

• Digital output: Optical

Please suggest any 5.1 ch speaker set with Digital Audio input to get 5.1ch surround sound. I don't have much budget.

Also please suggest which cable (Digital output) I need to connect speaker set with media player.
