@KK999 Win7 32Bit can only use 4GB /3.1GB of RAM. If you want to use Adobe Photoshop type of thing go for 64Bit of Windows and increase the RAM size.

Here are the upper RAM limits for 64Bit of the different editions of Windows 7:

* Starter: 8GB

* Home Basic: 8GB

* Home Premium: 16GB

* Professional: 192GB

* Enterprise: 192GB

* Ultimate: 192GB

@Kaushik

If your brother is a Graphic Designer than Windows 7 will be a better choice than Windows 8 as of now. Also I suggest go for a minimum of 22" LCD Monitor instead of 19". :)

Kaushik go for AMD based processer with Gigabyte motherboard and AMD graghic card. Some motherboards have onbaord graphic card with dedicated memory. It should fit on your budget. Do not go for Intel original motherboard as it is already in process of discontinuation. I am using AMD for last 3 years and only idea was to play games without any issues.

Although AMD is also good and cost less than Intel, but still in my opinion nothing can beat Intel when it comes to heavy processing....As your brother have to use CorelDraw and Photoshop for Graphic Designing, may be in the future he might need Adobe Illustrator for designing which is much more resource hungry and other programs like Quark Express, InDesign, etc. all are resource hungry....So, compare the performance of AMD processors with Intel Processors before finalizing.

Being a Graphic Designer myself, I always trusted Intel Products. :)

I want to purchase a Baisc All in One (Print/Copy/Scan) Laser Printer.

My usage is not much, hardly 5-10 pages every day. I know that ink Jet printer will suite my needs, but I am fed up of refilling inkjet cartridges, and refill cartridges these days don't last longer.

Please suggest me basic All in One (print/copy/scan) laser printer. I was thinking Samsung/HP which can easily be refilled.

Also is there any good deal available online?

Thank you in advance. :)

:previous:

Epson has come up with a multi function inkjet All in One which officially contains EPSON ink bottles instead of cartridge.

Initial purchase cost is little on the higher side at around Rs 9,500 compared to other inkjet multifunction but epson claims ink bottles cost Rs 374 only & give page yields of up to 4,000 pages (black) resulting in 10 paise a page for B&W.
