Fret not Windows Mobile lovers, hope may be in sight. As both carriers have given up on supporting the device and won't be releasing any updates to correct performance issues, a well-skilled hacker comes in to save the day and release AKU 3.3 for each phone. mmjain 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 (edited) I have flashed my PPC 6700 with the above ROM and upgraded to AKU 3.5 without any hassels. I really appriciate the work done by these people involved in cooking a rom. I am very happy as my device is now very fast and lot of new features. I have installed all my existing softwares and all are working perfectly. By the way after installation of AKU 3.5 you nned not upgrade to .Net 2.0 Compact Framework. Also MMS software from arc soft is preinstalled, but we will have to reliance mms settings to get it working. mmjain 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2007 (edited) Hi Hetal Installed theabove file. Looks like it has backed up your system and restored it on mine. I lost all my email settings which i will have to do again. Also lost connection settings. Lost Owner Information. Lost all games & Programs I had installed. The system has become very slow and I had to Hard reset it to get back my original settings. Would recommend you to upload all the programs seperately so that I can install required software. amitoberoi 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2007 Hi guys, I flashed my phone with the nojunk aku 3.5 yesterday night while watching the match and i am very much impressed with the final results (definitely not the result of the match though). The phone has become faster and my bt headset is now not getting disconnected time and again. I am using windows vista so there were some initial hiccups, but then i got the solution on the net and it went thru smoothly after that. One query though, i am not being able to connect thru rconnect after that, any comments anyone ? Hpnasik, you have mentioned KSE Trufax 2004 in the list of softwares you are using. Are you able to fax docs using ppc6700, and if so, pls tell me how. And there is still the eternal question for me. I hope somebody answers it this time. I am able to get connected to the wifi network at my home and office, but not able to browse internet thru wifi. However, i connect thru bluetooth and not thru usb. I tried changing usb to bluetooth pan in the internet connection sharing in the ppc but it doesnt get connected.
