When I heard about the thinks at rimweb meet Bombay, I have this idea. When I checked members list, I found more than 100 persons from Andhra pradesh. I have an Idea for rimweb meet at Hyderabad as I have accommodation. My guest house can accommodate 5 persons (stay) or 10 persons for meeting. If more persons participate, My conference hall in office answer for 30 persons. Light snacks and Tea/cool drinks is not problem from my side. Both the sites equipped with A/c and wifi facility, LCD Projector etc. and walkable distance from either Malakpet Railway station or Dilsuknagar respectively. If the members who wants to participate in meet, can post the probable dates and time. If it is saturday or sunday it will be better. The persons from A.P can meet at Hyderabad (no objection for others also) and share their knowledge. May be for 2 hours or more. So I request willing persons from Hyderabad and nearby to respond. I have no objection to come and participate if any body suggest some other best place.

iPhone CDMA Likely To Be Launched By Reliance Communications Source RCom is planning to launch the iPhone for its CDMA network in India, BGR India has learnt. Multiple people with knowledge of the matter have confirmed that the two companies have signed a deal and an announcement is likely to be made soon. With increasing data revenues across carriers, RCom hopes that having a high-end device like the iPhone would help it retain subscribers and also increase its data revenues. “We have always believed that CDMA is a better technology for data services and we will introduce high-end smartphones across both GSM and CDMA networks,” an RCom executive told BGR India on condition of anonymity as he is not authorized to speak to the media. Apart from Apple, the carrier is also looking at other vendors like HTC and Lenovo to offer smartphones for both its GSM and CDMA networks. Currently, all iPhones and GSM smartphones from other vendors are available unlocked so it is unlikely to make much sense for RCom to procure GSM smartphones. In all likelihood, it would launch the CDMA variants and probably offer some regular data bundling deals for its GSM subscribers. Earlier RCom had entered into a marketing agreement with CoolPad, a Chinese brand, to sell low-end Android smartphones from its own stores. However, the carrier now believes it needs premium smartphones in order to entice high value subscribers to increase its data revenues.

I believe that would be 2 year old(iPhone 4/4s) handset which are unsold and now they are dumping here and we love to take it.

MTNL Mumbai Introduces New UNLIMITED Broadband Plans With Time Based Speed MTNL has come up with a curious mix match of new Unlimited Broadband Plans. Don't buy BSNL - I've had very bad experience - the problem is not with their coverage, but with some technical issues in their network - when I had BSNL SIM, I used to get full signal everywhere, but the moment I start talking, the signal would start fading and the voice quality would be very bad. I've switched to Uninor through MNP - in Uninor coverage is not good, but when you've good signal, voice quality would be good. If getting CDMA is an option - get Reliance CDMA - I've almost never got a call cut while traveling in Bus/Train/others inside Hyderabad on my RCDMA number - and CDMA is best for voice quality by virtue of technology, CDMA voice quality doesn't depend upon the signal quality (it only depends on presence or absence of signal) whereas GSM voice quality is directly related to signal quality.
