Updated to MIUI 8 recently. One of the best feature is not advertised or highlighted. Now there is a default Dual App option in settings which lets cloning of any app and running two instances of the same app together. I am presently running 2 Whatapp with 2 different numbers, both running at the same time.

Yes !! but what I meant was that we should expose such retailers (termites) and not encourage corruption just for the sake of securing a Jio SIM at any cost.

^^^^ Great news! This will help make ChoRcoms network go from 'Horrible' to just 'Bad'.. Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk

Was Chote Bhai only responsible? Doesn't he have any advisors? Just can't understand their logic to antagonize a loyal customer base. I had been with Chorcom from 2005! Bade Bhai is trying to woo new customers giving so much of freebies while Chote Bhai is doing his best to drive them away. Is it the case of the emperor without clothes?

Reason Why I used "left in dilemma" Who said 'forced conversion' - Read my post carefully "CDMA user never wanted to upgrade but were forced by Rcom". And a CDMA handset user would have opted for MNP - to which CDMA Network ? Whose stupidity/ignorance user or Rcom? Some users bought costly CDMA handsets and data cards just months before - Yes it was there stupidity as they were suppose to know that Rcom is going to give them a situation/blow where they will be left in dilemma. Rcom was committed to CDMA users as the validity was till 20-07-2021 and Rcom very cleverly shut down CDMA services in the name of upgrade to 4G. We can understand that 1x to EVDO or EVDO rev.A to EVDO rev.B can be concluded as an upgrade since it provides backward compatibility. But an upgrade which is a complete change of technology - that too for existing more than 5 million subscribers ? No body considered to compensate the equipment cost loss of the user by way of providing free service at least for a while, instead revoked the 10 GB promise as well. Really SAD! Give a second thought to who is responsible for such harassment / suffering for so many...... Basically it was CDMA shut down exercised in disguise of 4G upgrade - some users struggled during the upgrade process while some ported out trying to retain their numbers and those who had CDMA only handsets were forced to buy new handsets whether they port out or stayed with Rcom 4G. As per your opinion Rcom did not force anybody and it was user's stupidity/ignorance since they stayed with Rcom for so many years.

It is a hand in glove work digital employees give away sims they get to distribute to retailers who sell at premium and given a certain commission to stores. As a purchaser most people don't mind spending 100-500 when they get sim across the counter given the long term benefits. It is obvious the entire fiasco is due to Jio and Digital mismanagement . People don't wanna stand in que twice to get one sim. If Jio can manage it better will be good for all Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Reason is, there are a lot number of 4G phones WITHOUT VoLTE support {and most are NOT ready to upgrade to volte ones in near future} and their Jio4gVoice app is, you all know how it is. So they need 2G voice fallback. Initially it may look attractive to be a BSNL user, but the same thing happened when RCom announced 4G tieup with Jio. People are of opinion that its better to use RCom for 4G (with 3G/2G fallback) than investing in volte phone, but see what is the situation now??? I guess Mukesh makes sure that there will be ZERO advantage for BSNL in this deal.. Let us wait and watch..

It is not taking that much time - Some people are selling SIM in black and is rumored by them only that it is taking too much time. When you get Token - dates given are of the same day after 1 or 2 PM onward for collecting sim (one hour slots) and in exception sometimes next day (Crowd is more on Holidays, Saturdays & Sundays and they give priority to those who buy LYF handset or JioFi device so the dates get further pushed). So avoid going on weekends. I have been to stores who are giving sim directly too. One of my friend went last Saturday and directly got his sim - and is now activated too. By the end of this month SIM will also be available at other outlets/dealers.
