  6. lenovo zuk z1 supporting cdma

People still want to enjoy the fleeting CDMA in India. Else no point if any new handset is CDMA compatible or can be made to. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  7. Reliance CDMA Shutting down

Same here in Rajasthan Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  8. Not all imported handsets have +91 problem. You need to either disable auto prepend or if the handset has assisted dialing then it has to be manually set to India. I have changed few handsets and never had to bother changing my contacts. Call conference has been answered long back and I guess few times already but it only works on postpaid at least on RELIANCE CDMA. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  9. Reliance CDMA Shutting down

Well today is supposed to be the last of CDMA in many states. Thankfully it's still on in Rajasthan but I am counting days. Let's see what tomorrow brings for lot of members who had to upgrade their sims. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

  12. I think just like jio join there must be some preview app on lyf which is required for other phones to work. Haven't had my hands on any to confirm myself. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

But xt1080 doesn't have any of the three required bands. Please clarify how you came to this conclusion. If you have tested with a sim then send a screenshot.

  20. Reliance CDMA Shutting down

everyone is so eager for 4g, its like the moment these sims get activated and the ultra high speed bandwidth starts working..........something is going to explode and give way to new means instantly. it is going to be exciting but doesnt matter if these connections start working in a week or few weeks from now. its not going to be a life altering experience straight away, yes in longer run it will lead & pave way for great possibilities. till then hold your horses all the enthusiastic people. being prepared for the new tech is great, the anticipation is fascinating but there isnt gonna be much change once the top of your smartphone screen shows LTE instead of EV, 3G or H+ i know this is not going to stop any of our forum members craze but i just had to vent out here.
  21. Just by enabling the band in DFS Will not help, Becae i have did on S6 Sprint but still 1800 it comes searching only VZ&ATT Both has 1800 band So both works on jio Tested by me There are many threads on xda to unlock bands as per device. Some got sucess, some didn't. If the lock is implemented at software level by carrier then more chances to unlock it, if band isnt supported by hardware or it is locked at radio level then its kind of difficult.Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk Not all handsets have easy way to unlock and support each and every band. Namely two of them with good specs standout. HTC one m 9And galaxy s5 (us version) Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk If CDMA is Dead Why to Stuck with RCOM Airtel, Voda, Idea All has very good network, Punjab Circle Porting Results for RCDMA - only 4% Cusotmers have Opted Rcom else all have shifted to Other networks Trying to enable LTE bands through successful methods given on XDA on imported handsets. It has nothing to do with cdma or rcom Parin Bhai. Imagine if you wouldn't have answered I would still be skeptic about s6 which is 33k on flipkart. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  22. News Snippets

Are there any globetrotter in this forum? This could come as a great news or the most exceptional one. A company called chatsim is providing their sim for 10€ annual subscription to use instant messaging through most popular chat apps across 150 countries at no extra/roaming charges. WhatsApp, line, messenger, bbm, telegram, etc. Are supported. If you have a dual sim phone then you could just keep this as extra sim whenever you are traveling. It could greatly reduce international roaming data usage. If you want to send pics and videos during chat then there is extra subscription fee. Else they will only let your apps pass your texts and emojis of course. Too good to be true. http://www.chatsim.com/en Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
