If your house is the highest building in the nearby area, you can go for it, as chances of getting good signals is high... Further in my case, one BSNL staff came to my home with equipment to test the signal (The signal was too good at -56dBm {anything upto -85dBm will be usable} and line of sight of tower is clear though my house is little far away from the tower).. Then you will get good idea...

For me Note2 looks much much better than OG Note... May be due to standard resolution, non-pentile display, hover characteristics of S-Pen2 and OG Note is way too wide for my taste, though coming with smaller screen (diagonally)...

I have applied for the plan change and given Security deposit cheque, 10 days back... But after trying various levels, TVS people said that their system is throwing some ridiculous error "Remove 3G data pack first"... FYKI TataGSM has no 3G service/license in TN... First madurai team forwarded this to Chennai team and Chennai Team also said the same and forwarded to Mumbai Team... Now I have raised this issue to MD Desk and just now got a call from them and promised to resolve the issue and change my plan in three days... I will update here once its done... According to them, this problem is occurring for existing customers only... If any existing customers of TN has changed to this plan, please reply here about the process to be done...

Now the telecom operators will simply change the base tariff of SMS to Rs1.50 or even Rs3.00 and they can continue to loot on SMS black out days too LEGALLY with TRAI's blessings...

I can agree the decision of apple to stop AirHell from bringing iPhone5, as they will keep price ridiculously high and LOCK it also and hence very low sales (relatively to unlocked) figures... But Aircel has done good sales by keeping price low (though model is outdated), the only reason I can guess is "Aircel may have diluted brand value by selling for very cheap"... ------------------------------------------------------------ Reg Benchmarks, I don't care much about Antuntu, pontuntu, nenebench or any sh!tty benchmarks.. For me the real life benchmark for a high end phone for day to day life is:- 1) Playing 1080p videos without breaking sweat (Max load, I love to give my phone) 2) Multitasking without slowing phone So my current RazrMAXX and GNexus are more than enough for me wrt performance and iPhone is NO-NO for me (I hate fake-mutitasking)... I have used RGsm prepaid for roaming around 2 years back... So my information may NOT be accurate now... I have used their service for 2 to 4 months only and broke their SIM.. Main reason is their horrible voice quality.... But their coverage was much much better than TataGSM.. Afaik, they don't use other's network for roaming.. The plus is you will NOT be charged ridiculous high tariff unexpectedly (happens in TataGSM, which gets changed to Idea or Vodafone when signal drops).. The problem is when you don't have RGsm network, you can't make any call/sms... But nowadays RGsm has tied up with other operators for ICRA (within home circle) Eg:- Icra with Aircel in TN... But NOT sure about National roaming now... Again I repeat, if voice clarity is very important for you, please avoid RGSM (Voice clarity very very horrible even in their old RTL circles), imho...
