Screen and on board memory wise I think LG is the best but softwares of LG are so pathatic. Also PC sync softwares are like stone age softwares. Mototrola now uses standard Mini USB interface that is really great USP.

Its my personal preference, I do not like LG's some how. L7 is metal body, even menu is good in KRZR so must be so in L7 only thing is battery capacity. Check battery capacity. RAZR has just 820 mAH battery. Must be same for L7 and I doubt if 800 mA battery will last even for day and half on CDMA

Dear Friends,

Got LG 6600 on Friday, Look wise the phone is good.

Sound quality is also good, video quality I, had still not checked.

Biggest minus is the absence of R-Surf, I don't under stand the policy of RIM, since Tata Indicom is offering unlimited Internet on its brew enabled handset [rs.99/- per month, not sure], why can't RIM provide the same on its brew enabled handset.

Also wasted whole day transferring the address book from old to new handset as download Address Book through R-World is not available.

I would like to know if we can install any app, to surf the internet on LG 6600.

Awaiting for reply

Thanks

Nilesh

I have been using lg6600 for last 11 days. The battery has never lasted for more than a day. I have to charge it every day and that too without listening to music. I am wondering if I start listening to FM and MP3 regularly then probably I will have to charge the battery two times a day.

It supports 11 Groups.Though there is no limitation on the nos of contacts per group but at a time you message/select 20 contacts from a group.

it means its not good choice to buy.

if u have to charge the new handset everyday .. say after 6-8 months of usage u will be finding it difficult to recive calls by the end of the day due to low battery

thanks for posting the practical difficulty
