Genius 817 Report post Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) My wife's 755P has been facing problem since 1 month her phone hangs on call wait and some times otherwise, on screen below the Caller name there are characters like "ÿÿÿÿÿÿ" then phone has to be given Royal Salute (remove battery) to restore functions. software ver is 1.07-spt is any one else having same problem / can any one tell what to do. ami1 237 Report post Posted June 19, 2009 i guess it was better on 1.04 That might be the reason why I have been facing a problem of being unable to make/recieve calls for 4-5 hours without any apparent reason. Happened twice to me in the last 2 months. No amount of reboots, restoring original images etc. seemed to work. Gets fixed on its own by next day. Maybe I'll try to revert to 1.04 next time i face the problem and update here. If I just run the 1.04 updater will it put 1.04 image ? Any feature etc I might lose by going back to 1.04 ? Mufaddal 678 Report post Posted June 23, 2009 ^^^ yes i have had this problem some times ..mainly after i updated to version 1.08 i use to just take out the battery and then reinsert it after some time ..that use to do the job for me gmx account will retrieve ur entire inbox from yahoo or hotmail over weeks or mnth if ur inbox is very bulky ur phone will then fetch all ur newly arrived mails in gmx inbox which will include ur new mails in yahoo as well all ur old mails ( which is very annoying if u have lot of mails in ur inbox) ...
