Sprint Samsung Epic 4G - The Beast Is Here!

Recommended Posts

my epic is running on EC05 Stock (rooted).

my batter also drains very quickly (no data/very less calls/no wifi)..

drain rate is about 10~15%/hour.

dunno which app is eating up my battery :(

Use an application like Battery Left to figure out what application is doing that

I think there's a way to unbrick it. I read on xda a few days ago that you have to push a pin in this hole for 10-20 seconds and then it might work and all. not to sure and that thread has disappeared now. Here's a pic.

I Haven't tested it out yet,so pls do so at your risk.

that hole does not press at all , quite risky might actually get a hole there as it is very hard unable to press.

if i make a hole i might loose my warranty.

it took me more time as a sent it to us with the parents of one of my close friend's friend , they shipped it to samsung from us on a airway bill provided to me by samsung at the time of lodging the complaint , i lodged a complaint on the phone from india and got a mail immediately with all the details like complaint ticket no. and airway bill of UPS.

they again recieved the phone in working condition with ec05 company loaded within 5 days, those people were coming back to india after 20 days so brought the handset with them .

How do they provide warranty if the phone is not bought from them? A bad ESN phone could well be stolen, how would they know. Or is your phone bought directly from them somehow. ?

@rishi - do let us know how the replacement procedure went, if you opt for that; and also the details to go about it (a US address can be managed)...
