Thanks for the info. The Vodafone tariffs are the best IMO as they offer the customer try before you buy option, thereby making customers accustomed to 3G so most will eventually subscribe.

Blame the exorbitant 3G charges on the auction format that was followed in allocating spectrum.

3G - luxury - not meant for the masses.

After considering their 2G plans, wasn't it expected? Good that the plans are posted here - I was too chicken to even look them up on their website, lol! Just hope that they loose a lot of customers and are forced to make their plans more realistic.

Apart from other differences evdo means stable, freedom to use net inside room but no freedom to switch handset as easily.

3GSM means freedom to switch handsets any time but no freedom to use internet inside the room. ;-)

So choice is ours.

Atleast 6-9 more months will be needed after 3G launch by all players for them to realise that from revenue generation potential viewpoint..

It will be better to have many 3G subscribers with rational tariffs rather than have few with outrageous tariffs...

Bigger the Corporates, Lesser the Ability to Understand Plain Truths quickly...

Neighbourhood handcart vegetable seller is much smarter in comparison though...Come late evening & he will clear the stocks with reduced prices... Capital can't be blocked & Capital needs to earn something...

To our Good Fortune this guy is not an MBA or Management Expert... & To our Misfortune... Management of Euphoric 3G Telcos are!!!

And the final awakening may come with MDA's LTE blitzkrieg...
