I am from Gujarat circle & on prepaid, cdma .For us upgrade to 4G is recharge is 75 Rs, they call it FRC, I think. Does anyone know, if that is only possible with at RWW or I can do it on line ?

Anyone from the forum member can help me with that ? I have a number of my parents to be given for upgrade, however I am not in their city at presently & they are old to visit RWW, as it is little faraway in A'bad.

There are several corporate customers of RCom will take them to court if the numbers are lost because of the switchover.. wont happen.. there will be a way to shift to 4G without so much pain..

They won't and they can't as they have been already informed since April starting by SMS and Tele Calls. So practically they can't as RCOM has the proof of it. 2 months period is long enough for switch.

But till now they have not informed officially through newspapers or through their website that they are closing cdma

Nowhere there is mentioned that cdma is closing

All they are telling is to upgrade to 4g

They are telling nowhere officially that your cdma phones wont work

RCOM's position is not tenable in courts

We have to hire prashant bhushan to put forth our case in courts

Is it a rumor that cdma voice and data have been shut down in panjab and himachal?

"Upgrade" to 4G using Rs.93 downgraded my pre-paid plan from Lifetime voice 50p/min to voice 2p/sec. Waiting for 4G activation now and don't know what kinds of plans await us.:unexp:

Surprisingly Delhi cdma has stabilised quite a bit after initially not working properly for atleast 8-10 days during the end of April and start of May.

If there is only a temporary network issue in Haryana,  The connection may work while on roaming in some other location. Of course, that can be found out only by someone who is having a Haryana connection but physically present at some roaming location.

In Kolkata, R CDMA network turns to be pretty good, after few days of glitches. I used their pre migration 1GB EVDO data and calling goes just smooth.

But I can't able to make calls with +91, I need to edit it to 10 digit or 0-10 digit no. Incoming calls are coming as 0091xxxxxxxxxx.

However this problem is with R-CDMA only. MTS works fine on my both CDMA handsets - HTC Desire 510 and Redmi Note 3.

I am also in north delhi...specifically rohini sector 5.

For me the data network has been behaving erratically for last 3/4 days. Today is exceptionally bad....spotty network and very low data speeds...like 1-15kBps.
