  2. Jtag - Bring Back Hard Bricked Boot Dead Phones

Thanks for the suggestion mate !! Yes I've seen reviews that Josh can do it , but I'm little apprehensive about sending the phone to US when I can get the same service in Delhi (confirmed and reliable) . I wanted to have this serviced in my presence so, only Mumbai and Pune can be possible. Also sending phone to US and back + service is gonna cost me atleast 70-80$ while can have it unbricked in Delhi for 1200-1500. Any reliable Jtag unbrick provider in Mumbai ?
  3. Sprint iPhone 5 on Reliance CDMA?

Ok.. based on discussions its safe to assume that Flashing RCDMA on Sprint Iphone 5 will not work , atleast completely. Also I have had very bad experiences with the external solutions like RSIM and GEVEY for GSM unlocking on iphone5. So, in one word, AVOID SPRINT IPHONE 5 , right ?? Can get Verizon or ATT one for GSM use.
  4. Jtag - Bring Back Hard Bricked Boot Dead Phones

Hello Guys !!! I stupidly hard bricked my One S by updating over OTA with Supercid applied few days back. I searched and found that the only way to revive phone back to life is the Jtag unbrick service. I searched online and found that mobiletechvideos.com provide that service from US , but for that I'd have to ship my phone there. Then I searched on local sites for someone offering this service here in India and found couple guys but all of them are in Delhi . I stay in Pune , so would really appreciate if those are nearby in Pune or Mumbai. I also found few guys on a forum mentioning shops at Manish Market, mumbai providing this service but there were no contact details. Does someone here know any good/reliable person who can provide Jtag service preferably in Pune, but even Mumbai will do.If yes, what would be the service charges. Guys I talked in Delhi are asking for 1200-1500 bucks for this, but I saw that shops in Mumbai do this for 800 bucks. Thanks... really appreciate any help !!!
  5. Droid DNA Tethering Issue

Hello Gurus, I'm also thinking of buying this beast. However I only intend to use it to GSM. Are there any issues at all with GSM usage ? I don't do tethering much , so just need call,sms,data(3g). Also I have heard that some verizon phones (like i535 galaxy s3) that can work well with some gsm providers (MTNL,BSNL) and doesn't work well with others (Vodafone). Is there same issue with this also ? Cheers !!!
  6. Sprint LG Optimus G with Reliance CDMA

  7. Sprint LG Optimus G with Reliance CDMA

  8. Buying a new car? Discuss here!

Hello and happy new yr ! My big bro is getting hitched in few months and he is considering buying a new car.. He is in two minds whether to go for a sedan or a luxury MPV (smaller SUVs). He has shortlisted Hyundai Verna and Honda City among sedans and Renault Duster among SUVs. he is more inclined towards the Duster due to the killer looks. However I browsed few websites and found that user reviews for the car are average at most. most prominent compalints are lack of security features and not so well made/designed interiors. On the other hand most of the car magazines and reviewers have given it a positive review. Does anyone here has a renault duster who can give his views on the car? I'd really appreciate that ! Cheers Dev
  9. Hi All, I'm thinking of buying Motorola Razr M by Verizon.I'm particularly smitten by the compact size of the phone for a 4.3 incher as well as good specs. As most of u might know , it also has a Worldphone capability with GSM slot like Photon etc, I was wondering if it has same issues like USSD code etc that were present in photon. if anyone have imported it and used it, can u please give me an insight if its worth getting this phone. I occasionally use RCDMA and mainly looking for using it for GSM. So need to know it works without issues or not with GSM. Thanks
  10. Thanks.. what about Razr M ... I know for a fact that it has Worldphone capability as triband 3g GSM radio. So it should work out of the box.
  11. Hi Gurus, I have a question. I am willing to get a kindle touch from US. Now direct shipping is costing north of 50$ with confirmation. So I was thinking if I could get it using SNS and ask the seller to mark it as GIFT ITEM (its price is around 130$ so less than Rs10000) will I be able to evict custom duty which is huge in this case (about 25%).
  12. The best that I could find was the 35$ discount (i.e. 10$ for lifetime membership) from its facebook page : MC634926IND (need to use a MASTERCARD). It was working few days back. Should be working now too. Try it. Couldn't find any 5$ coupon anywhere thats working.
  13. BIRTHDAY WISHES!

Happy b'day hetal Bhai ... cheers !! Hope you had a memorable day today !!!
  14. Got SNS account details from Hitesh Bhai and just purchased an HTC one S from Ebay UK. Lets see how many days it takes for me.
  15. Also ability to send photos/notes etc seemlessly is inparalleled. So whenever I purchase a shirt online I just snap a pic of it and send it my frnds nd gf to get their opinion.. Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
  16. Well the biggest advantage/usp on watsapp is that ur users are pulled from the phone contacts list. So if any of my frnd buy a new smartphone and install watsapp among any os, that will automatically be added. No other IM provides this flexibility. This also shows that people still rely more on phone numbers then fb/gmail IM contacts in contact list. Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
  17. That would be great !!! However I'd first like to know if you have purchased any item(specifically mobiles) from UK using sns account and what kind of charges I have to pay for custom/shipping etc. I'm currently checking out ebay UK site to get a good deal and once I find a good one , I'll PM you and you can provide me your account details. THanks.
  18. U r right sir, shipping to US and then here is both cumbersome and expensive. I may go with Shop&ship only. Does anyone have past experiences getting items from UK (timespan, cost and service) Also, Can anyone give me the latest coupon to get 5$ registration ? Thanks
  19. Hello Guys!!! I wanted to know what my options are if I want to purchase some item (obiviously mobiles) from ebay UK to get it shipped to India. I have been using PPO from ICCworld without any qualms for getting my phones from US till now, but they don't provide service for UK. I know that shop&ship provides the service, but I wanted to know if there are any other like these which provide free registration and cheap shipping from UK (just want to use it once as currently its cheaper to get item from UK comparing euro-dollar value). Thanks !!!
  20. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE

amazing news !!! Great work sir !!!
  21. I use watsapp alot on my sgs2(android) and focus s(windows) extensively on daily basis, but didn't saw any noticeable difference with it recently. It runs very smoothly and no lags whatsoever. I sometimes see some lag while it posts something that I write after clicking send, but thats not something new/recent. Maybe clear data/ reinstall may solve the issue. Not sure though !!
  22. Well, because of two reasons : 1. Its gonna cost me extra to get it activated on tata docomo. 2. I usually import my phones after getting better deals from Ebay US (got my galaxy s2 i777 at 15k and i937 @10k in the same way) and so want to know the process,if its not that complicated. I already know the process to flash Rcdma radio.
  23. Hello Guys !!! I've been a RCDMA customer in the past, but left it as for terrible signal at my home. Now I'm on GSM, but I'm really interested in HTC EVO 4g LTE phone, so need to switch again to CDMA. Now only option left for me is Tata Docomo CDMA. I'd very much appreciate if anyone can tell me is this a viable option to get the phone and flash tata radio (it would be awesome if anyone can provide me detailed guide for that too) to get all data/sms/evdo working. I really liked that fact that docomo is providing awesome evdo plans for 45 and 98 bucks. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated. I'd very much like to do it myself so little help would be greatly appreciated. Also, what kind of data speeds do you guys usually get on EvDO ? Thanks
  24. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE
