rEdshiFt 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 i NEVER see any ad banners in my mozilla Firefox....before and after the board upgrade but thats the GOOD part right ? i mean why r u worried niket, u should infact be happy about it na .... mozilla browsers by default blocks most banner ads (AND pop-ups AND a lotta unsafe active-x stuff too)...sure,a coupla flashy ad pictures maynot display on some websites thro mozilla but hey, we get cleaner_lookin-faster_loadin-safer webpages....right ? I want that if a member edits his post then it should be displayed in "View New Posts" I mean when someone edit hispost, and then u click on "View New Posts", then it doesnt show that topic in list, but it should display that post cauz the member has edited his post and he might added some new information in it and everybody should be notified for that. so whenever a member edits his post then it must be added in new posts. pls tell me is it possible in current IPB. Vishal Gupta 4 Report post Posted November 4, 2004 Becauz of Global size limit of attachments, many members hv to delete their older attachments from their posts for adding new attachments in their posts. therefore if one member clicks on an attachment, that has been deleted, he faces error, like: Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again. So, its very bad thing. we hv to delete our attachments, if the size of our new attachment is larger than remaining global size. So pls admin & mod solve this problem!
