Yes, there was some problem with R-World services (as per Customer Care, they did mention that there was an upgradation going on at that time) yesterday night. Anyway, at the time of posting this reply, its back to normal and working fine.

Well, R World is still not working at 12: 15 PM IST on 14th Jan on RD 6130 but connecting ok on RD 2030.

Is the server for MMS enabled phones different?

Yestreday, it was not working in both my LG RD 2030 and LG RD 5130 at the same time and later when it was working, it was working fine in both. R-World isn't connecting at all in your 6130 ?

No, not connecting at all. The E Mails & MMS sent from my phone to PC are reaching their destination but not to another 6130. The MMS sent from other phone or PC are not reaching my phone, though it says sent successfully. That means, the outgoing mail server of ricmail is working but not the incoming server.

It does not work I have LG 6130, I am able to send MMS to other phones and email addresses except LG6130 handset. Very Strange ...it seems Reliance has different servers for different phones. Also if you do not have a clor phone your email id would be 919XXXXXXXXX@rmms.ricmail.com

MMS is working for me. I have sent a mms to an email id and recieved a mms form an email id. Its seems the problem must be SDCA/City centric.

I use the LG 6000 and send receive mms directly from the phone. Maybe MMS from R World is still a problem

Hi I think the address has to be

9193XXXXXXXX@mms.ricmail.com for handsets with camera.

and 9193XXXXXXXX@mms.ricmail.com for handsets without camera.

maybe it will go, its working fine for me.

sorry i ment

93XXXXXXXX@mms.ricmail.com for with camera handset

and

93xxxxxxxxx@rmms.ricmail.com for non camera handset.

There is an extra ® for non camera handsets

Thanks Tushar.

Also try sending without the 91 and with 91.

If using portal i think only the number is required and not the email address.

Thnks for the info Tushar!

But have u tried sending emails from known email providers like Yahoo, Rediff, Hotmail etc?? Let us know which ones work!

Well as far as i know the Email to MMS was blocked a long way back and hence we can not send MMS to handset from the service providers like Yahoo or rediff.

But the Portal is different thing altogether here also i dont know if the MMS would go to other service provider i think Airtel would go. Ihad sent one earlier.

Also this facility is not officially launched as can be seen from the navie site with no audio images in the gallery.maybe they will put in some content there after its official lauch.

Also only handsets with Camera and click and send enabled like RD6000,5130 are allowed to log in others are not.

also the MMS is to be addressed to <mdn> in case of reliance set and to 91<mdn>@serviceprovider.com in case of other service provider.

the portal is

http://bill.relianceinfo.com/webapp/portal/servlet/MMSLogin

Thanks,

I thought the format was 093xxxxxxxx@rmms.ricmail.com.

Either ways doesnt work now.

I don't know how they can charge for service like this!

I sent emails to my 6130 2 days before, using the 1st SMTP method, and they went smooth. I sent about 10-15 mms, and then the thing stopped working. It showed the mms in the inbox, but gave error "unable to connect". Try whether that method is working for you.
