[ TIP ] To improve graphic display create a short to activity com.zte.emode.TSRise. Execute it once. It will stop with some error. You will see improved graphics. Its recommended to reboot your phone once.

I am using Apex Launcher. it has option for creating shortcuts for app activities. Long press on home screen >> Shortcuts >> Activities >> com.zte.emode.NetworkType it will create an icon at home screen. hit it and you'll see options for 1X/EVDO/Hybrid modes. this option is also available in Holo launcher but it performance slow. <showoff>my home screen</showoff>

@DK49b, talk to your seller. Did he told you that its an unlocked/OMH handset? If yes, ask him to help you configure reliance CDMA EVDO. Keep in mind that MTS will not provide you any support for other network. If the seller didn't mention that its an unlocked/OMH handset, you have to find alternate ways to configure reliance CDMA for this handset.

Would like to know if MTS puts any kind of restriction for using the SIM with the device its combined with? If I use it with any other device, will they be able to detect it? in seller's terms conditions list he says MTS "may" block the SIM/benefits. have you come across any such incident? My requirements: Good call/voice quality. 3.5mm headphone jack. mini/micro USB charging point. Low SAR value. Auto call recording for GSM calls. Option for User defined Call/SMS ring tones. budget upto 2.5K. Brand is not important if my requirements are fulfilled. I have seen the following models and don;t find them suitable for the reasons mentioned: Lava KKT31C - No 3.5mm jack, High SAR. Intex GC5050 - No 3.5mm jack. Intex GC5060 - High SAR, voice/signal quality issues. MMX GC232 - No 3.5mm Jack, (Other Micromax C+G models have high SAR value) ZTE D286 - Not enough battery backup. Lava GC141 - Voice quality issues, fix ring tones for calls/sms. Samsung mobs-Have their own proprietry charging/headphone ports.
