Got the evo in my hands today

i didnt expect it to be SOOOOOOO Broad!!

i feel its bigger for a phone size

seems more like a mini tablet !!

though the built quality is awesome , but i would still prefer my incredible with good dimensions and sharp screen !!

that was my initial thoughts when I took the decision in favour of incredible... Its basically for people wanting a *edited*, otherwise Incredible is more practical as a phone and easily handled with 1 hand... that is the reason why iPhone has not crossed the 3.5" barrier which it easily can break, as it too feels anything bigger than that has a different market, which is primarily not as a phone....
few advantages i see having incredible

- phone is very slim profile

- very sharp display

-better battery life

- 3D performance better than EVO

I think sumit and sandeep will have to buy new clothes, with huge pockets to keep their EVOs... ;)

BTW, congrats to muffi, sandeep on making the first EVO work on Reliance... :)

Come on people, enough of criticizing.

It isnt that big that it couldnt be carried. I have used o2 Xda IIs GSM for one year and XDA III tata for 2 years and I-mate Jasjar for 2 years and till date I havent used such a phone in my life. I could beat anyone in any kind of work to be done by my Jasjar.

I believe its huge as compared to Incredible but I dont care a bit about it as I love phones WITH huge screens.

btw, Leaving for Delhi today itself and going to courier it to the Guru Mufaddal ji Directly from there.. I hope you will recieve it by tomorrow sir.

Also get ready for the first EVO on Tata Thanks Zillions To HITESH BHAI and MUFADDAL Ji and wishfully with EVDO on it!! Can you beat that?:SI::Sorprendido:

People are jealous so making fuss over big size. I have use even bigger PPC 6600 and when I got it in my hand, people were jealous of me and were appreciating big - very big screen. Now that we have choices we make fuss. Same fuss was there for iphone, it was biggest at that time. Now its norm.

i am giving my honest opinions which are unbiased

i keep on getting phones very regularly so i am not biased towards either incredible or evo , as i will change it again

I GAVE COMPARISON BETWEEN TWO , WAIT FOR MORE TO COME

evo lovers , if they dont like , i cant help it

i did put the evo and incredible side by side

opning and closing apps occur at same time

so there is hardly any speed differece between two

but

i saw that same wallpaper appeared bit washed out in front of amoleds screen of incredible which had more vibrant colours

may be this is what happens to you when u use amoled devices

@sumit

if u used to jasjar and xda then you will not have any problem with evo

infact u will find it more compact than jasjar

Arey bhailog, hum toh sirf mazak kar rahe hain... EVO is also a phone in its own league... Its a good phone, i was planning to get that only for myself, but few online pre-reviews, and few members of rimweb (read techies ;)), suggested me to go for incre...

And trust me, incre is good... EVO is in its own league.. :)

Congrats sumit on the first EVO with tata (once it activates, which I presume today or tomo), and do let us know about the EVDO.. ;)

@kshah

I didnt expect that type of comment coming from you; we analyse without prejudice... little bit jokes apart, and that too only with friends...

To put speculation at rest... EVO is a good phone. period... but NO phone is perfect...

http://www.intomobile.com/2010/06/13/htc-evo-4g-hacked-to-work-with-palm-touchstone.html#more-102055

for people who have extra evo

by doing hardware modifications you can use htc evo with touchstone wireless charger
