For me, when a message arrives while talking.. the voice of opposite person almost sounds like a robot is talking at the other end.. Any solution for this? After being victim of Blackberry 8703e n lousy support I decided to get a new phone. My bro overheard across the ocean and asked me if a CDMA phone from US wud work here. This forum showed me the way and he is sending me a Sprint HTC hero. Well, few questions before he buys the phone n sends it to me. 1) I read the krispuniq got a htc hero the same way and got it activated with help from Dhiraj. And if anyone has any query Dhiraj, mufaddal, Hetal (frm my town ), SumitVerma and other people are there to help. 2) Well, I have reliance and need help to understand steps by step approach to activate the phone and get data services running on it. It was 8 yrs back when I did 8086, 386 programming in college days. Never later. 3) How foolproof is the method. I mean if a CDMA operator changes settings on his side to restrict the imported phones to connect. Would it be end of day or 2012 for the expensive electronics piece? 4) Would getting a Bad ESN phone do? Any risks? 5) Any more suggestions before my bro buys a phone n ships it. dkaile 1,051 Report post Posted May 16, 2010 Leaked 2.1 original sprint rom is working perfectly as per preliminary reports and Hero has become very fast after this upgrade (though not tried personally yet); root will go; official launch should coincide with launch of evo, so its June 4 for now... If the phone Hasn't been rooted & is on stock ROM (like how Sadikk often gives the device), would there be a chance of something getting messed up? I followed some links according I did the following Setting > Application> Manage Application > Gmail > Clear Data Setting > Application> Manage Application > Gmail Storage > Clear Data Now As per link It should ask again for setting account on opening Gmail But I am getting stucked "YOUR EMAIL WILL APPEAR SHORTLY"....
